I don’t think it makes you a bad fan. Just one that is going to punish Yelich by not having his normal years of the past. He’s better than TT against RHP. TT has been fine but he’s the flavor of the month for people upset that Yelich is struggling. -

I’ve said it for awhile now. He’s the perfect backup. He should never be the main guy but he’s awesome as a backup.

I’d say luck is a huge component. Either by a few lucky bounces of the ball or by not getting huge injuries. Or both. -
They are going to be a hard out, that’s for sure. Anything can happen in the playoffs but they’ve built something that gives them a legitimate chance.

23 games above .500 with an 8-game lead over the Reds and double digits on everyone else. 47 games to play. Magic number is 40. Brewers now have a +103 run differential. The Reds are probably going to have to win somewhere between 65-70% of their remaining games to have a shot at the division and that may not be enough.

74 strikes in 99 pitches. That’s probably the best stat of the night.

Leaving guys on 2nd and 3rd in consecutive innings for the Braves. That usually doesn’t lead to winning games.

Stat chasing with your ace in an 8-0 game would not be an intelligent move. If he has 16 or 17 K’s, go for it. He’s at 15. No need.

If Corbin strikes out 2 or 3 next inning, I think you have to give him the 9th to go after the team record of 18 by Sheets.

That’s annoying. We have to separate as far as we can because they have a ton of games against these Cubs and pirates chumps. Who are not even trying to compete Meh. If the Brewers can’t hold a 7-game lead with 48 to go, they don’t deserve the division.

That would make no sense. He’s warmed up and ready to go and I’m sure they don’t want to use up several relievers that they might need tomorrow, especially if this game is suspended. Plus, if you use several relievers, all it takes is one having a really bad day and suddenly the game is close. As was stated to another poster, it should have been in blue…
