  1. It’s only a disaster if he doesn’t rebound with his power. We won’t know that until we go though it.
  2. Power outage in my neighborhood and surrounding area. Can’t get my phone (AT&T) to stream anything. I have a portable internet thing (Cellular One) and that won’t work. Won’t be seeing this game I guess. Annoying.
  3. +1 for this and Narvaez. I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly.
  4. Yeah...I don't know what it is about the Cubs. They like really need to get chippy about strange things. Not a great way to go through 162 games... Usually comes from the managers style. I know CC stays away from that stuff. I don’t remember Ross much as a player but he seems to be okay with that stuff. Always odd to me. But to each their own.
  5. If he’s higher than average, what’s that make him? …. Above average. If he’s that, I’m fine with his contract as expecting MVP numbers probably wasn’t realistic. Find a bit more power and hit a bit more against lefties and he will be alright. OK, your standards and expectations are substantially lower than the Brewers front office and Yelich himself. They didn’t give him the contract he’s getting to be slightly above average against RHP in the prime years of his contract. This isn’t what I said. But I think you can actually read and know that.
  6. I wonder what league average is. I’d bet it’s lower. I know what you’re saying but I don’t thinks it’s nearly as bad as we all think right now. I think it is totally fair for fans to measure Yelich by a standard higher than “average”. If he’s higher than average, what’s that make him? …. Above average. If he’s that, I’m fine with his contract as expecting MVP numbers probably wasn’t realistic. Find a bit more power and hit a bit more against lefties and he will be alright.

  8. Against a lefty, Taylor makes sense in a double header day. Yelich has been really bad vs. LHP (.164/.309/.327/.636) and pretty solid against RHP (.253/.401/.371/.772). But make no mistake, he has been better than Taylor against RHP (.211/.320/.391/.711) but Taylor has mashed LHP (.304/.342/.551/.893) so it is a good decision to start him vs LHP. Although Taylor needs to get back into gear here as he has not been good as of late.
  9. I didn’t see that twist coming.
  10. I mean, this just isn’t true. How is that not true? Look at the numbers and it's far and away his worst season. At least last year he hit some dingers. I misread. I thought he was saying it’s the worst season by a mlb player ever.
  11. A double header would be great. Use our starting pitching to get possible complete games. Come on rain!
  12. It’s even weirder that we’ve had a successful season. Just doesn’t seem possible.
  13. The base running mistake may cost a chance for Adames to get an AB. Hope we can get a guy on for him to knock in.
  14. How long after was the knee cap? I think that’s more to do than anything. Darvish's comments came that November. Right now I believe him, although I can't prove it. If it was his knee cap, more would be made of it than what is, which is nothing. Injuries do heal. Mental injuries sometimes do not. That’s what I think on his situation anyways.
