  1. Shorten his bat and approach and he will hit .300 again. Ego won’t let that happen though and eventually he will go down in flames because of it. It’s really that simple. Hand eye is still there, there is no doubt about that.
  2. Just came from living basically in Iowa City where the U of I Hawkeyes have a pretty good thing going on with their D1 baseball team and no one cares there either. Very small fan base. It's just, college baseball in northern states spring time. No one is into that.
  3. Play Braun already. This is supposed to be the time he is still on the team for. It is put up or shut up time for him as well. His body should be well rested to give us a burst into the playoffs.
  4. I thought Yelich was going to have one of those moments last night until he whiffed on two right down the middle. It happens but I just thought it was time.
  5. If they fade again, the people that think the pessimism was over the top this year are going to lose their minds next year. If they let it slip away again, well, that stink aint gonna wash off for a very long time. It will make this place stink to the high heavens, yes. Baseball is hard on fans. Even in successful years there is just so much failure. It truly is what makes this sport so great.
  6. Put up or shut up time. Either start winning games and secure yourself a spot. Or don't and join the long list of disappointing teams to put on the Brewers uniform.
  7. Reds closer couldn’t of put it on a T better for Yelich and Perez multiple times. Sometimes it’s just not your night.
  8. Having Braun hit with two outs and the bases empty seems pointless too. Could have inserted him for Broxton.
  9. Tip of the cap to the guys in the pen tonight. Gave us a shot.
  10. Seems as though CC was just itching to get to the pen in this one.
  11. I hope they allow us here at brewerfan.net to pick the teams mascot.
  12. King's injury may have a big impact on this team. It also is getting annoying that he can't stay healthy. I know it's out of his control but it just sucks.
  13. To be fair, those that mentioned a lack of power previous to his 2nd half hot spell had a point. (I believe people mentioned lack of a proper launch angle.) He has proved people wrong in a lot more ways than one this season.
  14. [sarcasm]This is where you are wrong. If we don't settle this issue, who will? And then what?... and then what?[/sarcasm]
  15. Watched the interview Yelich had in the clubhouse and no matter when it always sounds like there are tons of kids in there. Wonder how common that is.
  16. I don’t get the throw it in your face that you were wrong bumps and posts. Granted we all could use work on not being so definite in our posts but this stuff seems petty and not great for the boards. Not only that but this is a forum built on speculation and opinion. Everyone will get it wrong here and there. Just my two cents.
  17. Less than 10% is probably a bit much but having an equally as great player in Cain won’t help Yelich unless he continues to have big moments for the next couple of weeks.
  18. Braun has been doing the every other month thing. He was pretty good in April and June and great in August. He was pretty terrible in May and July and has been bad here in September. So you’re saying he’s prime for a big October?!? Can’t wait!
  19. You’d think we would learn to not overreact by now but here we are. Different players at different times (other than Cain and Yelich who have been great all year) have come through and had hot stretches. It doesn’t mean there isn’t room for them. They’ll just keep the musical chairs going and keep winning ball games.
