  1. Not sure what’s more comical, some of you guys melting down or the Brewers.
  2. Did a fist pump while walking my way around my first IKEA but watching on my phone.
  3. I feel like the “#FreeNateOrf” people should apologize. (Half blue)
  4. Yes, a guy like Nottingham will get run out of town on a rail. I agree. It’s really interesting who fans give long leashes to and who they don’t.
  5. I always do a slight chuckle when someone has a post that lists him in our strong pitching depth. Like you would want that guy anywhere hear your 25 man roster. This fan base has a decidedly strong bent for the scrappy underachiever types. It's amazing how hardly defended a guy like Sogard was up until the very end. Orf will be another interesting case.

  7. It shouldn’t take a little losing streak to realize this team shouldn’t be major buyers. Keep building. It’ll payoff.
  8. Yeah, he very well could want to be a part of Milwaukee winning their first WS but it’s probably more believable that he would want his best shot at winning them and that’s probably not in Milwaukee.
  9. Not sure if the reports are legit or not but it wouldn’t shock me to see him leave. He is proving to the league to be one of the best. He probably has a dream job like we all do. If that comes knocking, I’m sure he will think long and hard about taking it. I mean, who wouldn’t?
  10. Bear Claw is ridiculous and a perfect reason to enforce a pitch clock.
  11. I don't think anyone in the NL can. The ALCS is the de facto World Series this year. Sounds like a perfect reason not to give up top prospects for Machado...
  12. I don’t think really any of us truly know much.
  13. For me it’s not that I know he will be the next ace of the Brewers but he could be. He has a shot to be a very good pitcher. I’ll take the chance and so he needs to stay a Brewer. We always want young controlled arms but when they come up and pitch for us, a lot of fans hate it. I don’t understand.
  14. Like I said, can’t wait for him to get a fresh start elsewhere.
  15. Will Smith? He’s back having a great year and is on a $2.5M contract which will only go up next year.
  16. Those numbers obviously stink but are misleading going forward. Sogard and Arcia are gone and they are replacing that production with the following so far: Saladino: .286/.352/.571/.923 Miller: .289/.360/.489/.849 Perez: .247/.281/.398/.678
  17. So maybe Ortiz ends up as a stud reliever. Still don’t want to give that away for two months of Machado.
  18. Now watching Burnes, I think he’s #1. He is a control guy that seems to sit at 95mph with ease. I’m extremely excited to see where he and Peralta may lead us.
  19. Burnes is a hard no. I’ll gladly keep that young controlled arm.
