I just don't understand why a move at second wasn't made. If you weren't going to stick with Villar and let him figure it out over the next 50 games, than why not a Kinsler/Phillips? Sogard is not a good MLB player and if Stearns/CC didn't have that foresight than boy are we in trouble. Those couple of guys I mentioned wouldn't cost us the farm and they'd give us a professional player. -
Just made me sick to my stomach to click on MLB standings and see us in third behind the Cards now. How disgusting it has been since the all star break.

Yes. This mess is completely on the players. They've flat out embarrassed themselves since the break.

Just play Villar. My god, what is the upside to playing Sogard? I got it when he was hot but now he should be back to AAA where he belongs. Terrible player.

Colon is just toying with this team. It is pretty sad to watch how poor their pitch selection truly is.

I think why this has been so frustrating is because the division is actually out there to be won. This could be a year a Brewers team gets in, rebuilding or not, they have a legitimate shot at doing it. But ONLY if they can figure out how to get hot again.

I'll judge Counsell when he actually has legitimate pro baseball players to use.

a 10 year old could have seen the train wreck coming...by your reasoning one should just stand in the tracks anyway. and yes, i do think garza is an okay pitcher. And I'm sure CC didn't have a great feeling like the rest of us. But for every homer that happens in that situation, another batter hits one at a guy to get out of innings. Sometime in those situations you just have to hope for some luck. They didn't get it this time.

Surprised it took this long for this post to come out in this thread. Sadly it's the truth. There are probably some Brewers fans that would rather have him suck than be a quality piece for the Brewers winning games.

So comical that people comment about how CC should have taken him out. Like we just have bullpen arms to continue to cover 5+ innings of work a night. Couch managers are the best. They know all. Lol

Hader going 1 inning certainly hasn't helped tonight. I'd imagine Swarzak is unavailable Suter going 4 is worse. Shouldn't expect your pen to get 5 innings. Especially this pen.
