-how does that work when teams play eachother for the 2nd time? -most of the pitchers in the brewers proposed rotation, all teams have a solid scouting report on and also most batters in the league have faced, so its not going to work. Even most crappy pitchers get through a lineup a first time. Decent get through a second time. Has nothing to do with scouting report.

pitching half your games at Petco has to help. Very easy to look up. Hand's stats have been quite a bit better on the road in the past two seasons.

That's the great thing about this bunch, no memories. I can't remember who they asked but it was after their first series win against STL and the player was basically like so what, none of us were a part of the past.

I won't tickets through Miller Lite. I can't go tonight due to coaching ball myself. Anyone living or visiting in that area that would want them? I should have thought of this earlier. And sorry if this wasn't the appropriate way to do this. Just hate seeing something go unused. There are two of them I think it was section 203 down the right field line.

He's started two games in the past week or so for the Mets and done pretty well. Doesn't seem stuck in the minors and it doesn't seem like a fit because we are okay with starters right now.

Booyahhhh! Jimmy Nelson turning into our own homegrown ace?!! Kudos to Counsell for not overthinking this one and letting Nelson do his thing. Cubs won but Cards, Pirates, and Reds all lost!!!

Why wouldn't Jimmy go back out there in the 8th? We complain when we pull a guy in the 90's and pitching well and now it doesn't happen and we complain? He should start the 9th as well. Dude is 28. Time to put the big boy pants on and complete a game.

Yes. Good point. Maybe fits an AL team more so. Why hasn't an AL team signed 7-8 starting pitchers and done this? 4 innings apiece.

Didnt the Rockies do it a couple years ago? And yeah it has been brought up in the last. I know I've suggested it before here. I'm not sure there was a thread dedicated to it or not though. I see roster expansion with six man rotations befor piggybacking happens though.

There is something to be said about being consistent. An example is DiMaggio's 56 games straight where he got a hit might've helped his team win more games than having 43 more OPS points over that same period. Not only that but 56 games is simply amazing. You know how I know? Because no one has come near it and probably never will. -

This just feels like a late inning loss brewing. The Padres have had 2 hits through 7, yet here we are to the 8th tied at 4.

This is where your dislike shows true. Stats show otherwise. Plus he expanded his zone because the pitcher is on deck in that situation.
