  1. Just go in house.
  2. Maybe they won't. But maybe they will be. I'm guessing you didn't have them in first after 80 games either. You just never know when the streaks are gonna happen. Maybe they will go win 10-15 straight in August? You just never know but I do know they are in a good position to compete for the division.
  3. Some of this I understand because it's a reaction to another game we very easily could've won but on the other hand, my god people. You will wake up tomorrow and they will still be in first place on June 29th. Your imaginations have run wild to think this team was going to run away with this division at any point.
  4. Well at least everyone got Aguilar to pinch hit tonight.
  5. Unlikely Broxton, Vogt with a big league at bat there. Wish it would've paid off.
  6. Because Detroit is that much more Hollywood? Duh, he would want to get traded to a bigger market and someone who will compete for the remaining 3-4 years of a contract, we are in a rebuild, see many many many previous posts. A rebuild that has went faster than a lot thought it would. With Verlander leading the pitching staff with these young pups producing, who knows.
  7. Bad months, badhalves, bad seasons happen. He very well could suck all season and then turn into an awesome player next year. He definitely has some maturing to do which either will happen and help him become consistently successful or he won't and he'll be just another guy. I doubt the front office is writing him off at his age right now though.
  8. Because Detroit is that much more Hollywood? If either of the two deals are possible to grab Verlander, how could ya not?
  9. Guerra has to be injured. Time for 10 day DL and allow that velocity to get where it needs to be.
  10. No complaints here. It's just too bad he couldn't figure it out. He seemed to be a part of that good clubhouse/dugout culture we've had this year. This bench is really deep!
  11. Villar or Sogard to the Yankees? Don't they have a bunch of injuries?
  12. Are both these guys ready to go Tuesday?
  13. Yes his swing and miss ability is just not good. The good thing today was the one walk.
  14. There are currently 3 catchers on AAA roster, Who goes Garcia, Susac or Heineman? Heineman and Susac have been atrocious there. I'm sure there's a way to make room.
  15. This is a good signing. Bandy needs some at bats at AAA and Vogt, ya just never know. Might even make Franklin a goner because he adds that left bat.
  16. I'd take him. Nostalgia alone. He carried this team on his back to the playoffs and I'll never forget it.
  17. [sarcasm]He just can't do anything right. We complain when he plays, we complain when he takes that choice away.[/sarcasm]
  18. He was out and it wasn't questionable. It was a very nice play by their SS. Not the best play ever but a great reaction to the situation. A step slower and it's 1sr and 3rd with no one out and we are all happy that he took the chance.
  19. Yeah just a series of unfortunate events combined with a couple errors and it equates to this loss. Crap.
