IMO the better team won. Crosby gets a lot of flak but all he does is win.
-
Ooh, you sure told him. And just how many strikes does he get before you demand he be fired? Three? Just stating that for me, and you don't have to agree, this seasons bullpen issues are a big red flag for me in terms of Stearns evaluating players. He's swung and missed on pretty much every bullpen arm. But when it's all said and done, no need to be a tool.

Villar to DL; Brinson recalled to make MLB debut

Santana might end up the best of the bunch. -
I hope they score 10.

This is straight up comical now.

Okay so Cravy is hurt. Archer and Wang come on up. Suter can stay too for all I care. All I know is this seasons bullpen is strike one for me with Stearns.
-
Cravy and Wang should be on the first flights to STL.

The bullpen coach is actually good and helped a lot of our minor league pitchers. TheCrew07 brought it up when he was hired full time as bullpen coach that it was a stupid move because he should be roving around the minors helping guys there instead of basically answering phones in the bullpen. Don't care. Then reassign him to that role. The Cardinals had no problem doing this.
-
Maybe Stearns needs to take a step back from assessing bullpen guys and let someone else do it. These guys suck.
-
Fire the bullpen coach. I don't care if he does very little. Fire someone.
-
Oh then yeah I guess that makes sense. Probably wouldn't be my choice but I guess if you're going to use someone on the 40 it pretty much has to be Suter or Espino. Yeah, me either but if you give me a choice between the two, I've seen enough of Espino now too.

From TH: Tough times for Carlos Torres. Last seven appearances: 6 IP, 16 H, 12 R, 10 ER, 4 HRs, 15.00 ERA. Martin Maldonado is a better pitcher than this.

Stop trying to sell us on Thames stupid t-shirt. It'd make nice toilet paper right now.
-
I just can't. How bad does it have to get before something is done? It is amazing that there will be some that defend these clowns as if other teams would want them anyways. They are flipping trash. Garbage. Some of the worst pitchers in the league. And yet, because we are the Brewers, we just accept this crap.

There should be a pitch limit to it. Once you enter an inning it is either three outs or 25-30 pitches.
-
Is Thames kind of a hot head? Seems to have somewhat of breakdowns at times after getting out. Maybe he needs to go back to meditating a bit more.
-
We have plenty of crap on the 40 man before we'd give up on Broxton. As much as I want to see him shipped down to AAA to right the ship, he doesn't belong off the 40. I guess you could stash him at AAA to figure it out and DFA Drake or Peralta. My issue is that his problems date back over a year. He has shown trends of going on nasty 3-50 streaks. With our glut of OF prospects at some point I think you just cut bait to protect someone else. With Nick Franklin and Michael Reed holding down 40 man spots as OF's on our team, I think Broxton will be okay for a bit.
-
I'll be shocked if Thames isn't jammed on pitch #1 of the at bat for a weak out.
-
Brinson needs to really cool the jets a bit. Swinging out of his shoes. annnnnd before that is ridiculed... I understand its his first game lol.

How is that not an error on Thames? Official scorers are ridiculous these days. Thames needs to be DL'd because he flat out sucks. Either get healthy and play better or let Aguilar play.
-
The rest of the division (Reds leading right now) won today so we could be losing a game on everyone today.
-
Please get healthy Braun. This team needs a consistent bat badly.
