  1. Well, THAT sucks. It was pretty much the defining factor that we'd switch to YouTubeTV for the Sunday Ticket package next year.
  2. And that's why I am choosing not to watch, at least for the time being. Part of what made "Night Court" NIGHT COURT was that it was so silly and politically incorrect. A lot of the stuff that they got away with in the 80s and 90s just won't fly anymore and, thus, (to me) the new show just won't be anywhere close to the same. Did they at least do any kind of tribute to any of the original gang (besides Dan Fielding, obviously, and, I presume, Harry, since the new girl is his daughter (I think?)
  3. My wife and I watched Glass Onion on New Year's Eve. Rather enjoyed it.
  4. I would agree with you on that, Brock. Defensively, he’s still very good. And, clearly, the power is there. But a good batting eye is not. He seems, to me, to have turned into another “all or nothing” hitter, and that’s just something the Brewers don’t need. I wish he would change his hitting style back to what brought him better success at the plate. Patience and a good eye to just take an (more than) occasional walk would be nice, too. Now, if turns out to be some extraordinarily team-friendly deal, I might be okay with it.

  6. Honestly, I could see a resurgence from him, ala those Braves acquisitions last season. I’m not saying that will definitely happen, but perhaps getting out of a losing situation with Oakland could be that change of scenery that is needed. This isn’t the sexiest trade out there by any means, though.

  8. Here’s another EV question that I haven’t seen answered, even in articles I have read: how quiet is the cabin, compared to an ICE vehicle, while driving on various roads? Is it just as noisy or are they more sound-proofed (ish)?
  9. Do they have manual transmission EV??? I'm serious, because I don't know.
  10. I like to look at it this way: at least Christian is playing ball most days and still able to help the team try to win, albeit in a different capacity than 2018-2019. I mean, he could totally be Anthony Rendon. Ouch!
  11. I always liked Brady Clark. He was the epitome of an underachiever that "made it." I wished him success and he had some, which is all anyone really wants when they aspire to be a big leaguer. As a result, he has become a bit of a cult hero to some, and a player that is definitely not forgotten to others.

  13. Is Aaron Rodgers being consulted on their pick here????
  14. My cousin said we should draft a long snapper and a punter here in the first round since they stiffed us so badly late in the season and in the playoffs ?
  15. This run on is WR crazy, to be sure. But it seems like no surprise to me, what with the success of kids like Ja’Maar Chase going bananas last year. Everybody is looking to hit it big (in Vegas, no less!) on the next big thing at receiver. I hope the Pack gets two of the best players they can tonight. At this point, I’m not sure what that means. Defense?
  16. Personally, I cheer for 2:35 pm. Just kidding ? Good article!

  19. I really couldn't stand Roy Howell. I can look back and appreciate what he did bring to the team (and the expectations placed upon him when he signed) but, as a youngster, I was constantly brought down by his rally killing outs when he would play in a game that I would attend. He was the epitome of a Brewer player that I didn't mind missing his at-bat to go use the bathroom. Maybe that's mean. But it's the memory I have of him.

  21. I commented on this article yesterday (before it must have been pulled?) so I'll repeat my comment: My wife and I have already made a pact to listen to more Uecker this season: every home game in which Brian Anderson is not on the call will be a "Uecker" game for us. Thankfully, we can change the audio on the MLB.TV app on our Roku to make this seamless.

  23. My wife and I have already made a pact to do as you suggested this season. Every home game without Brian Anderson in the booth will be a Uecker game for us. Thankfully, mlb.tv allows you to watch the game but choose the radio audio!
  24. I'm driving up to Vegas today to attend Summer Slam with my brother. He is huge into wrestling, but I am not. I'm only going because his friend pffft-ed out on his ticket and my brother couldn't find anyone else to go. I'm happy to have some bonding time with my brother--lord knows he does things with me that he probably isn't all that thrilled about (based on the time he spends on his phone during those times) so I guess turnabout is fair play--but this is 5-6 hours of wrestling. I gotta imagine that I'll get bored after only 2 hours, but I'm trying to have an open mind about it and make it as fun as I can. I highly doubt that I'll become a full-time wrestling fan or anything, though. Hey, at least I get to check out the new football stadium!
