  1. Not necessarily. Last season, I still had not received my refund “automatically” until I called my ticket rep. In January.
  2. Well, I figure I had better made a final comment. im glad that the Crew came back to win. I really am. This whole post season is, to me, gravy and I really need to just enjoy the ride. have fun watching tomorrow, everyone. I’ll be taxiing to the runway about first pitch time tomorrow. I hope the pilot will give me updates since Allegiant doesn’t have WiFi.
  3. *sigh* I got nothin’ (I’m so out of this game.)
  4. Shocker: MLB app has Mets radio audio but Brewers radio audio is dead air. living out of market sometimes sucks oh, and yay double play to limit the damage. Still already has an 8-1 Brewer loss “feel” to this game
  5. I was so optimistic yesterday but still tempered my expectations and excitement. Today, I am extremely pessimistic and have been dreading even watching the game. All these years of watching have, sadly, conditioned me. [insert sad face here]
  6. Skubal’s dad is the principal at my school. We’ve had plenty of interesting conversations about baseball and players from Tarik has told him. Tarik is a pretty nice guy, too.
  7. The Brewers had better sweep the series. If there is a game three, they'll be throwing the first pitch just about the time our flight to Appleton takes off from Vegas. And I'm pretty sure Allegiant doesn't offer in-flight wi-fi.
  8. I might have my set (421, row 2) available for game one. Gotta find out if my in-laws are gonna use 'em.
  9. Heh, he makes a couple of appearances in season two, I believe. That was a really good show!
  10. Kinda sad we didn’t go to the last two games, but both of them woulda frustrated me in the stands so I’m glad I saved my money and watched on tv. hoping for the sweep today, but it’s hard to do.
  11. Unfortunately, I have to hope for one of two things: a) That they release the movie onto a streaming service (besides Bally's) b) That it's still playing somewhere in the Fox Cities area when I'm visiting Wisconsin in the first week of October.
  12. One would think. I know a friend who went to a concert a couple weekends ago and just sweat through his shirt. And he was sitting right below a vent that normally is blowing ice cold air. theyre not fixing it, I’ve heard, because the team is trying to get a new stadium. The county or city owns the ballpark but wants the team to pay for the repairs. Or something like that
  13. We were going to go, too, but I keep hearing from friends who go to games and concerts there that it is unbearable at times, depending on where you’re sitting, because the AC is broken in the stadium. The wife just doesn’t want to sit there and sweat the whole game.
  14. As I was drifting off to sleep, I swear the announcers were going nuts because the radar reading was 106mph.
  15. Woah, paragraphs! This made it SO much easier (on the eyes) to read. Thank you! (Yes, seriously.)
  16. I’ll go with 17-9. Still well short of the Dodgers, but might be able to pass Philly.
  17. My next door neighbor is moving and she sold us some stuff so she doesn't have to take it with her. One is a chest freezer. It's probably the "2-deer" size (LOL). Anyway, here's my question. I see online people say to defrost it and empty it before a move. But if I'm moving it, literally, 100 feet from her garage to mine, do we need to defrost it or do you think it would be fine moving with a dolly over to our house without a defrost? Thoughts?
  18. You could get it framed and accidentally get it into the hands of a sick kid in the hospital and then promise the kid that Sal Frelick will hit two home runs to get it back! 😆
  19. Not much else to add to this but a couple things. 1. Welcome to the site!!! I hope you stick around a bit. 2. Cool story!!!!! Really!!!! 3. Authentication is the best answer I've got, as well. Not sure how you go would go about doing that, though.
  20. I did say something along those lines to my wife here at home. I would have rather they started the inning with McGill. on point with your post, though, I’ll go on record and say that I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Devin was having some back spasms again tonight. I hope I’m wrong.
  21. One batter too long. As soon as they showed Rojas, I told my wife they needed to make the move with Koenig’s pitch count in the 20s. Nuts
  22. This is how I remember it, as well
  23. Ugh, what a crummy day. Our accounts lost a bunch of money today. Thank God that I'm not needing these accounts (nor touching them) for another decade and a half. It's gonna get worse, isn't it . . . 😒
  24. 16-12 I'll go with.
