    After the Brewers lose the last thing I want to see is an interview with a player ON THE OPPOSING TEAM!!! That said, while it bothers me to see so many Cubs fans at Miller Park, I take a little comfort in knowing that such is the case elsewhere. I have watched Cubs/Giants games at SBC in which half the crowd was wearing blue.

    Once again the Brewers have reached the point where you just know that they are going to lose. Yes, the Brewers are going to lose 2 of 3 to the Devil Rays. Yuck.

    I forgot about the game and decided to read the in-game thread to see what happened. When I discovered that the bases were loaded I expected to see several posts that consisted of "NOOOOOOO!" But to see "GRAND SLAM!" in big bold letters, well that just made my day!

    In fairness to Bill, I would imagine that he is doing that because Steve Rushin had an article in the most recent issue of SI in which he writes about how nobody keeps score anymore. Perhaps Bill is trying to help buck that trend.

    I just got back from the game. I was very proud of the Brewer faithful for their support. I mean, we've lost 11 straight, we're playing the Pirates, it's a Monday night, and 23,512 still come to the cheer on the Crew. Very nice. However, I have never left a game due to sheer disgust until tonight. After Adams gave up the 3-run shot I left. I have never felt so discouraged over a team than I do right now. I was so exited and now I wish I was a fan of the Dodgers. But alas, I am a Brewer fan and I will be until the bitter end. As for the game, Li'l Ben was awesome. Yes he gave up a no-doubter, yes he walked a few and beaned a few, but overall I was very impressed. If he consistently pitches like that the Brewers will be in good shape.
