God no... MA needs to do better than a Caratini/Pina platoon.

Curious if Rangers would deal Mitch Garver? Seems like Heim is their everyday C.

I agree but I just dont see us giving him 3-4 years, especially when big market teams are in on him as well. Would love to add him, just dont see it happening.

Man Gary Sanchez would be interesting... Would give us RH power bat. How's his D?

I would love Jake McCarthy but he's redundant with Frelick and Mitchell.

I honestly think Murphy is off the table, price is way too high. I've seen that Vazquez wants 3-4 years and big market teams are in on him. But I agree, we really need to upgrade at C... Just dont know how we'll accomplish this right now, I gotta go look again who is available as FA.
  12. DR28
Yes, I've seen reports that he's looking for 3-4 years.
  13. DR28
Or Atlanta... Wouldnt mind d'Arnaud, although he's a FA after 23 season. Im guessing Toronto would only deal Jansen... Kirk and Moreno are untouchable most likely.
  14. DR28
I hope ur right... Who is out there that is good? Dont think it will be Vazquez, he wants 4 years... Murphy price is too high... Jansen is meh.
  15. DR28
Think we'll have to go trade route... Vazquez is looking for 4 yr deal... But Murphy's trade cost is super high I guess... Sure Jansen would be high as well... James McCann I guess?
  16. DR28
Yea he might be... But at $15-$20 mil I bet.
  17. DR28
I guess cost on Murphy is super high... Thoughts on trading for James McCann?
  18. DR28
Sounds like Murphy cost is super high, hence why Cards turned to Contreras.

Yes please! Drury at 3B and Urias/Turang platoon at 2B, would very much improve our lineup.
  20. DR28
    No kidding!

We could have signed Bell and traded Tellez.
  22. DR28
They arent.... Bell will DH it sounds like with Josh Naylor at 1B... Or could flip, think Bell is a good defender.
  23. DR28
    2 yrs, $33M
  24. DR28
Bell is off the board... 2 yrs, $33 M.

And you really have no clue that Willy would be ok with it... Doesnt matter Willy is our 2023 SS.
