The only box is in the basement The TV upstairs is just the coax cable into the back of the TV. There is a modem in the office. The weird thing is all the other digital channels are fine. It's just channel 122 that isn't working. Of course the only channel I really care about right now.

Yeah, did that over the phone with a rep at Time Warner. Still doesn't work they are sending a technician over Sunday. Don't understand why the heck this isn't working for me.

At least Boston signed Brad Penny to a low risk high reward deal. We have not even done that.

This has worked well for Melvin in the past. I still like McClung, but wouldn't mind giving Lyon or even Saito a look for the right price.

I to have high hopes for Bush. I told a guy at work I predict 13 or 14 wins for Bush. I have a lot of confidence in him.

    I'd rather hang onto Hardy.

I still can't get it with my Time Warner box. I keep pressing the A button and it keeps telling me it's not available.

I wouldn't mind signing Lowe to a 2 year deal with a 3rd year option. But I know like re-signing Sheets probably a very long shot.

Thanks Patrick, I just got Time Warner as I moved and where I used to live had Charter so I'm not very use to it yet.

When I tried turning it on around 5:30pm at home I got a not currently available message. Channel 122 on Time Warner.
  11. BrewCrewForever
I wish him the best, not sure what he has left though.

You mean less talented right? No, I mean Miles is more talented then Eckstein. But he is that same kind of scrappy little player who always kills the Brewers.
  13. BrewCrewForever
"Dark Knight" "Ironman" "Burn After Reading" All I can think of right now, I'm sure there are more.
  14. BrewCrewForever
Well I would say we will NOT go after a closer now. So I hope Doug has a pitcher or two in mind and ready to sign. I'm totally behind McClung now as closer.

I hated Miles as a Cardinal so I imagine I will hate him and he will kill us as a Cub to. He is like a more talented Eckstein.

I can't wait for their nightly live show "MLB Tonight" during the season. It's gonna be cool to switch to that during commerical's of the Brewer game to see live look ins and highlights of other games as they go. Gonna be great.

Dikono, how did you get a hold of a 1982 Brewers "World Champions" pennant?
  18. BrewCrewForever
I'd probably pay money to hear Melvin say "we'd like to add a bay window, and that". "Yeah we would like to put the laminate flooring and that in the living room." Your right Brian, that would be funny.

Thanks for the info guys. So sometime in January we should know what we will get in 09'.

I would have loved for the Brewers to sign Penny for that kind of deal. If Theo thought it was worth it, I really wish Melvin would have gone for Penny.
  21. BrewCrewForever
If Mauer develops more power with all of his other skills he would probably get a deal that would make him the highest paid catcher ever. Just my opinion.
  22. BrewCrewForever
The more I think about it, I want a Dave Bush bobble in 2009. Does anyone remember what month they announced the bobbles last year? I can't.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Yeah if he came somewhat cheap and we don't get Fuentes, Hoffman or decide not to use McClung as closer I wouldn't mind Lyon as a closer at all.
  24. BrewCrewForever
That is amazing Hass, I never knew a single thing about Rivera. I do remember hearing about Bergeron though.

Some albums I really enjoyed in 2008: Death Cab For Cutie - "Narrow Stairs" Eddie Vedder - "Into The Wild" Coldplay - "Viva La Vida" Vampire Weekend - "Vampire Weekend" Nine Inch Nails - "The Slip" Guns N' Roses - "Chinese Democracy"
