That was just classic. Great episode, one of my favorites of the season. This was on par with season 2's Christmas episode.

I hope he stays, could still be a nice long relief guy out of the pen maybe a starter. He does work very hard and I expect him to work his tail off to be a good pitcher again despite the second TJ surgery.

I agree with clancyphile, Gallardo, Parra, Bush and Suppan are 4 nice guys in a rotation but we need one more guy who can be a 1 or 2 to go with Gallardo. I would much rather see McClung, Villanueva and Dillard in the pen.

Kind of knew this would happen, still sucks. I wish CC all the best, but hope the Yankees still suck. I would have much rather seen him go to a west coast team.

Good point hawing, it worked for Kendall so it just might help out Hall to. I sure hope, I don't know if Hall could ever put up his 2006 numbers again but if he even put up his 2005 numbers while platooning at 3B with Lamb I would be ecstatic.

CC is like the prettiest girl at the dance. He has his choice. And he is making all the guys drool as they wait for his decision. I'm kind of getting tired of it all.

My thoughts exactly the two sports franchises I hate the most are the Yankees and Cubs. So seeing Ben or CC in ether of those jerseys would be too much to take. Puke.
  8. BrewCrewForever
Well he is signed to a 1 year deal. So as long as he is good for 1 year I'm okay with that. I guess only time will tell.
  9. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I know it was small sample, but your telling me I didn't see him throw a mid 90's fastball with a nice slider and sinker? I know he pitched poor for the Reds. But I think he could be a nice option out of our pen in 2009.
  10. BrewCrewForever
I agree, a 2 year deal is not that big of a risk. It would be worth it, especially because the Sabathia signing still seems a pipe dream to me.

That was a great interview with Coffey on WSSP. He seems like a real good guy and happy that Milwaukee gave him a chance. Hopefully he can have a solid year like the September he had for us. He has the stuff, just gotta control it.

That is sweet. I have been a Charter subscriber for along time. But as of Jan 1st I will be a Time Warner subscriber, they are going to carry it on expanded basic, right?
  13. BrewCrewForever
So the Dodgers sign Blake and Loretta. Busy day for them.
  14. BrewCrewForever
Totally agree, Kendall will get a lot of starts but no where near as many as last season. People will actually know that Mike Rivera is on the team!

I figured this would happen. I don't mind a Lamb/Hall platoon too much. Maybe it starts as a platoon and they call up Gamel like they did Braun in 2007? If nothing else Lamb is a nice left handed bat off the bench who can play play 3B and 1B if needed.
  16. BrewCrewForever
Ha, that is funny. I dunno what kind of return we would get for Hall. I'm actually somewhat intrigued by a Lamb/Hall platoon. That might not be that bad.
  17. BrewCrewForever
If the Yankees sign CC and Ben I would not be very happy.
  18. BrewCrewForever
I have never got past 2. I feel pretty pathetic.
  19. BrewCrewForever
Per MLB.com Dan Plesac will be an analyst for the network as well. Another Brewers connection.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Great signing Doug. Coffey has real good stuff and pitched great for us down the stretch last season. I actually really like the way our pen is shaping up so far.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Thanks for all the help everyone. My Firefox is working good now. So how do I actually reformat my ipod to be a mac one and not pc?
  22. BrewCrewForever
Yup, took a vacation day tomorrow. No way I feel like driving into work in this stuff.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Will this be every Monday night from 8 to 10?
  24. BrewCrewForever
Born and raised in Southeastern WI so pretty much born into it. My Dad was a fan and he passed it on to me.
  25. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I did. And now I have to do it everytime I start up my computer for some reason.
