    I thought it was a great season premiere. I loved all the Creed stuff, specially his comment about Kelly's backside. Also the stuff with the facial hair was well done. And Michael explaining how Ryan came back as a temp and he would pay any price was quite funny. Gonna be a great season 5 of the best show on TV.

    I'm a big Cappy fan, so I hope he can battle his way back and possibly at the least be a left handed long relief arm out of the pen for us next season. He has a good work ethic so I'm sure he will bust his butt to get back.

    I like the choice. Bush would have been my choice as well. Isn't it crazy we signed Suppan for all that money for a situation just like this and he is not even going to start. Well I suppose if they don't go with Yo in game 4 Suppan would go.

    Hart looked a bit better yesterday, but he really needs to get it going. I guess if Kapler was healthy or Nelson had more MLB experience Sveum would start one of them. But that option is not possible.

    I really hope the offense can get CC some runs today. If they don't I guess CC will just do it all himself, hit a solo HR and drive in Counsell after Craig walks and Kendall bunts him to second. I hope that isn't how we win, but the way CC has played for us this year he has done it all. I believe CC's run here in Milwaukee has been one of the best half season in the history of the game. He has just been so dominant it's sick. I'm glad I was able to see him pitch two games in person.

    Yup that is how feel about the logo, it's great. I'm shocked they don't have shirts or have made it into a wallpaper at brewers.com.

    I like our chances. I think the offense can score on Myers and I think CC will toss another impressive game. 1-1 tie going back the Milwaukee.

    The Brewers lost. I enjoyed every minute, because it was playoff baseball. I can hardly wait for tomorrow's game. You know, I kind of felt the same way. I mean of course I want the Brewers to win and go all the way. But when you have not been to the playoffs in this long just being there is a great feeling and I felt more relaxed watching todays game as I will all the playoff games then say the last couple of weeks of the season, which were very stressful. I'm just so used to watching everybody but my team in October that it was so nice to actually watch extra Brewers games this season. Hopefully many more of them.

    Hardy will not play 2B. He could possibly move to 3B. Or keep JJ at SS and have Escobar play 2B.

    Since it is my belief that we can still compete and contend next season even without Ben and CC I don't want to go through moving another IF to CF. We saw what happened with Hall, it worked for Braun but that was to LF not CF.

    I would bring back Rickie next year. I'm willing to give him 1 more year to show he can play 2B at a high level hitting and defense. If he doesn't I would just end the relationship someway somehow. I also wouldn't look into him getting taken out. They wanted to double switch so Carlos could pitch a couple of innings and Weeks was the last out so they switched him. I would be shocked if Weeks didn't start Saturday against the lefty Moyer.

    The pitching was pretty darn good today. Even Yo who didn't have his best stuff did fine, it was the defense that killed us that inning. I guess tip your hat to Hamels, he was flat out on. I was very glad to see us do something against Lidge, that was very encouraging. I think with CC going tomorrow if we can bring the bats against Myers we can split in Philly and head home to the Keg. I still like our chances. Tough loss, but I felt like we were in it the whole way.

    I have sported the beard since 2003. It is a nice trimmed kept up beard though. But for the playoffs I will not trim the beard or get a haircut as long as they are in it. And I probably needed a haircut about a week or 2 ago. We shall see what happens.

    So anyone else like me saving just about anything they can get there hands on playoff related? I hope it's not another 26 years but in case it is I have been saving all the Journal Sentinel papers. The Wild Card section and front section from Monday as well as today's special playoff section. Anything else anyone has gotten there hands on?
