    I agree with what FTJ said. If Yount does not come back if Sveum is the Manager a guy like Treblehorn or Lamont would be perfect. However if Skaalen is not back, Cirillo could be a possible good choice for hitting coach.

    Anyone know where I can find a larger image of this logo online? I want to use it as a wallpaper but the logo's on brewers.com and jsonline.com are so small.

    I put in a request to use vacation days the 1, 2 and 3 already a few weeks back on the hope that the Brewers would get in and there would be at least 1 day game I would have to be able to watch. Looks like that paid off.

    I hear ya Pedro. I woke up at 5am to use the bathroom and it took a good hour to get back to sleep because I was thinking of different game situations. I also keep picturing Yo mowing down the Phillies and having a great game. I hope it comes true.

    Well I have had a beard since 2003. But I'm not trimming it until the Brewers are eliminated from the playoffs. So I hope that is toward the end of the month.

    Wes Helms or Ned Yost. Just kidding, but they were both big in getting us into the playoffs. For me it has to be Bob Uecker. He has been here forever and been through it all. He deserves it.

    I wish the Brewers would do a promotion with Sentry like they did for mini bobbles in the past and make a CC bobble that you can get for $$?? at Sentry's when you buy a certain amount of (insert product here). That would be awesome.

    Yeah I would also say no. We need that left handed pop off the bench and having Villa, Seth, Parra and Soup/Bush who can all throw multiple innings I don't think an extra pitcher would really be needed.

    I was so mad I missed that. Had I known it was on I would have taped that game and kept it forever. I'm sure they will show it again at some point and I will be able to tape it.

    I'm very glad Nelson made the roster. Nice option off the bench left hander with some pop. Good choice, I also think it's cool that you can have 6 players in uniform but they can't play. It's good for guys like Sheets, Kapler, Branyan and Riske who have had injuries but been with this team through this run.

    I feel really good about Gallardo in this game. I had a dream last night that he was lights out. 6 innings of shutout ball but came out because of pitch count.

    Pedro, you deserve it. With all the joy and goodwillness (not a word but I used it) you have given myself and other Brewers fans with tickets glad to see you get to go to a playoff game and I would assume this means you renew your tickets for 2009?

    If Kapler is healthy, he starts quite a few games down the stretch I would assume. But he isn't. I would be for Nelson starting against RHP but I have no idea who well Nelson could play in RF. Probably not near as well as Hart. I would not even think of starting Gwynn.

    I guess Suppan in game 1 CC in 2 and Gallardo in game 3 is possible? I don't know it just seems to be so up in the air. We all know CC is in the rotation it comes down to what Sveum and Maddux want to do with Yo, Supp and Bush. It will be interesting that is for sure.

    September 28 just keeps coming up big in Brewers history. The last game at County Stadium was September 28, 2000. Mark Attanasio's birthday is September 28. The Brewers were eliminated from the 2007 playoff race on September 28. And now we have a September 28 that may never be topped. That is kind of crazy and very ironic. Don't you think? I was at the zoo today with a bunch of family today for the DS Buddy Walk and did not hear a single pitch of the game until we got into the car and heard Uecker's call of Durham's neat HR in the 8th which of course was followed up by Braun's HR in the 8th. I don't know in my 26 years alive if I heard Ueck more excited then on that HR call. Wow. It distracted my Dad so much that he almost took 45 south to get him instead of 45 north. It was crazy.

    I feel great. Still a little buzzed from my celebration with friends earlier at the bar. I work Monday and Tuesday this week. Took vacation days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday a few weeks ago hoping the Brewers would get in. They did, and now I can see the day game Wednesday and I can party like a rockstar without having to worry about getting up for work till Monday the 7th. Go Brewers!
