Well its solo, but its a start. 5-1, lets keep it going. -
Okay, they must have the shift on Prince here. We need baserunners, why not lay a bunt down the 3B line?
-
Well, no matter what happens we at least got here and won a game in front of the home fans. It was a lot of fun to watch 4 extra Brewers games and one of them a great win. Just a shame Suppan and the offense wasted all that. But with the end of the season brings the hot stove winter and before long pitchers and catchers will report and its new life! And hopefully some moves made to improve the team in the areas they fail at.
-
Runs, please. At least a couple to make it interesting.
-
Leadoff single and nothing. Making Joe Blanton who is a nice pitcher look like an ace.
-
Post that on Dale Sveum's refridge. That says it all.
-
Lot of punch and judy hit's for the Phills this series.
-
You know the offense is not doing the pitching any favors today but still with the way Gallardo has thrown and the fact that they were willing to use him out of the pen but not start him over Suppan who has been terrible since August and he gave up 3 HR's and 5 runs that will be one of the most what if moves in the history of this franchise.
-
I feel bad for Hardy, he is the only guy doing a damn this with the bat.
-
Hart and Suppan biggest jokes on this team.
-
Jeff Suppan and our offense. But mostly Suppan. He is pure garbage. Worst signing in franchise history, even worse then Jeffrey Hammonds.
-
6 up and 6 down for Yovani and he looks sharp.
-
Well at least we won more game then the Cubs in the playoffs. That is all I got for a silver lining.
-
No team would trade for Suppan. His value is about as low as low could be. It was an awful sign and he should have never pitched in this game. Our offense looks terrible today to, so that really doesn't help.
-
Exactly! That is my question, 3 days rest or not Yovani was a much better option. I'm just mad that we have two more years of having to deal with Suppan on this roster.
-
That is true, he could have gave up 1 run and might have lost the way we look so far today at the plate.
-
I don't think it was that bad a choice. CC is an okay hitter and why burn a bench player this early in the game. I mean yeah were down 5 but lot of ball to play. I have no problem with CC hitting there. It's not like we have a huge roster like we did a few weeks ago.
-
Gallardo should have started this game. No one but Dale Sveum though Suppan was a good idea.
-
Thank God.
-
Better pinch hit for him here and go with Parra or Seth in the 4th. No more runs for the Phills and we need to start scoring some or this could be it.
-
Gallardo on 3 days rest would have been a much better option.
-
Yup kind of figured that would happen. Burrell owns Supp.
-
That is signature worthy, well done.
-
I hate Shane Victorino.
-
Corey Hart sickens me right now. He is a joke.
