    I'd be shocked if Yo didn't pitch at this point. And pitch well. I would have to agree. If it was at all a danger to Yo to pitch the Dr., trainers and Doug Melvin would not allow it. Yo seems to have an outstanding work ethic and I'm sure he has done everything he can to get back in to top physical condition.

    This is very tricky. You almost have to have CC pitch Wednesday and Sunday. But then who would pitch the 1 game playoff? But if you save CC for that and don't get to it we could regret it. It will be very interesting to see what Sveum does. If Sheets could pitch Friday or Saturday that would be great but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

    Yeah, I saw Kapler. I wasn't sure if it was him at first but I sure thought it looked just like him. A guy I work with was at the game told me he saw CC, Prince and Rickie.

    Root, root, root for the CUBBIES (For 4 games)! I'm so into the Cubs for these next for days I should be wearing khaki shorts and a Ron Santo jersey.

    1.5 games back with 6 to go. We still have a glimmer of hope. The boys better bring it at home for these final 6. I believe they can, but will they? Guess we will have to watch and see.

    I hope in Appleton for the T-Rats. That would be sweet, I might go to opening day for the T-Rats then.

    I'd like to see what the team could do with a healthy Gallardo all year. Couldn't agree with you more. I just said in another thread that even though he is coming off the knee surgery I expect big things from Gallardo in 2009. I think he can easily put out the numbers Sheets has and probably better as long as he stays healthy and makes all of his starts.

    I'm with Ennder. I do not see any reason we can't contend again next year. Yeah we lose CC and Ben. Well Yo is probably going to equal Ben if not maybe be better. We won't get anyone as good as CC but should sign a good #2 or trade for a #2. Parra should improve and I think Dave Bush can be very solid like he has most of this year besides his awful start. Should have a lot of the same core position players just need a true leadoff guy and a closer. I'm really looking forward to 2009. Oh and I almost forgot, we should get a good Manager.

    After not picking up any ground today because of the loss no matter what the Mets and Phils do I say just shut Yo down. I was for him coming out of the pen when we still had a real chance but it is slim and none now so don't even risk our ace for next season.

    So do you think Sveum will have a clue and pinch hit for Kendall in the 9th? I doubt it, but you never know.
