I would hate to see Ryan miss a bunch more games. Maybe the next two against the Astros and team off day and then sit him for the entire Pirates series? Then an off day Monday before they go to St. Louis for two. Would be nice to have him back for that series but that might be pushing it. -

I will take wins anyway we can get them. But it would be nice to see some blow out wins where we don't need our closer or have a save situation.

I would be fine with that. Its a good list. I really want a Mark A. bobble though for some reason. Would be cool. But everyone else on that list would be great. -

Oh yeah. Loved that Clark catch. It was amazing, I will never forget it. Best catch in Brewers history bar none. Kapler's was pretty awesome though.

I would have to guess that Gallardo and Braun are as close to locks as can be. Kendall has a great shot but after that it is kind of fuzzy. I would like a retro player and a person in management (Yost, Melvin or Attanasio). -
It might have been outside. CC didn't complain, he just better get that pitch.

And here's the weird thing to me: the guys wearing them tend to be muscle-bound, fit, "cool" guys. I have yet to see a Braun appearance where he's wearing something other than a jersey or Affliction gear. He did a signing at a car dealership a month or two ago and had jeans with skulls screenprinted on them. And I just can't help but think what mid-20-something wears screenprinted jeans, you know? And pays $200 for them? Well I would say I am far from being msucle-bound, fit and cool. I do agree about jeans, I would never buy "designer" jeans. I buy all my jeans from Kohls.

I had no problem with TH reporting the blog that claimed Yost was getting fired. I think MOST of us really felt on that day off after the Red Sox series before Pittsburgh that he would indeed be fired. They were about as low and low can be.

Coop thinks they will sweep us with both Sabathia and Sheets pitching this series? Wow, he has some grapefruits to make that prediction.

USA now 3-2 in baseball. A win over Chinese Taipei tomorrow assures them of being in the final 4. Hope they can do it, wouldn't it be something if it came down to the USA and Cuba again for the Gold just like in 2000.

I don't want Weeks to be hurt, I wish he would be healthy but just play a little less then he is right now.

Yeah I will take a 3-3 west coast trip any day. Lets get a bunch at home here now before we head back out on the road.

Weeks might hit more HR then Durham but the numbers don't lie. Durham has a better average and OBP this season. And as for defense, it is true Durham has limited range but he can turn a double play and will make all the routine plays. While I hate to see injuries, Durham getting more PT may be a good thing in the long run.

I'm not even mad, the way Ethier killed us this series I had a feeling it would happen. Man I love Braun more and more everyday. He is just so special and it was clear going back to ST of last season. When they interviewed Ted Simmons after the game he said Braun reminds him a lot of Pujols, but without the plate discipline yet. And I would say that is right on. When Ryan improves his OBP he is going to be in Albert's league.

Maybe it's just me, but I think TH does a pretty good job. I mostly enjoy reading his blog as well as his articles in the JS.
