    What if CC wins 16 like Sutcliffe did in 84' when he won the NL Cy Young in half a season with a 16-1 record?

    It's somewhat of a long shot for CC to take it. But if he can somehow go his final 9 to 10 starts and win all but maybe 1 or 2 while dominating along the way he has to have a good shot.

    That very well could be it. What else could make Ned so mad at Russ as to bench him against RHP for Counsell? This charade has made me more upset them any of Ned's from this season. It makes no sense at all. And the worst part is not only does he start Counsell at 3B but he bats him 6th! How stupid.

    Honestly the only thing I remembered about Grant's brief stint as a Brewer was that he couldn't throw strikes.

    Yeah I to was shocked at how good Balfour has been. I even went as far as to pick him up on my fantasy team. When Percival was injured Balfour was even closing games.

    Why can't Ned just go back to what worked. Branyan against RHP and Hall against LHP. It's pretty simple, yet he can't comprehend. Counsell should be limited to starting once in awhile for JJ at SS, pinch hitting and late defensive replacement.

    Pu me on board for Lawrie working at C and 3B equally. He has to be our guy at one of those two positions in the near future. Glad they got him signed, could be another stud.

    As probably the biggest Gagne supporter/fan/apologist on this board it is awesome to see him pitching so well since coming off the DL. If Eric can keep it up we have a deadly combo in the 8th/9th with Gagne and Torres.

    I would have to hope the Cubs win. I would like to catch them, but we have the wild card and I want a bigger wild card lead.

    I tip my cap to Weeks today. I have been hard on him all season but today he showed up and played. Hopefully he can do this a little more often.

    That is a good point. I think people feel that it is a big deal because of how scary Prince looked. I mean he had the look of a man that could kill in his eyes. Manny had no idea it was coming and then that second shove to the face was just out of control.

    I think the way JJ reacted may have been the best thing about this. I have a new respect for him. The way he got in Prince's face and was so passionate about how he felt that it was so wrong of Prince to do that was just awesome. Maybe he can be a leader on this team.

    JJ sure looked mad in that video. Just yelling at Prince for doing that. And that does not seem like JJ's personality at all.

    Typical Yost in this presser. "Not a big deal." Your hot headed 1B just shoved your starting pitcher twice in the dugout for all to see and it appears for almost no reason other then he is a bully. It is a big deal Ned.

    I would love to hear that, but I doubt we will. So I won't hold my breath waiting to hear those words out of Ned's mouth.
