Well of course its because left handed batters can never hit left handed pitching except for Prince Fielder. And Ray Durham although a siwtch hitter can only bat lefty against righties.

Not if we keep trotting out guys like Joe Dillon to pinch hit.That is true. Oh my, another great play from one of the jokers on the right side of our infield. God Weeks and Fielder are terrible fielders.

Yeah, they can go ahead and win a game in September anytime now and that would be fine with me. Heck if they could hit with RISP we already might have a couple of wins this month.

I think I'm starting to go into panic mode. I just have an awful feeling in my mind, heart and stomach.

These first 4 games of September have just been so frustrating. No timely hitting at all. We are awesome at getting runners on base but once they get in scoring position the bats just go ice cold.

Hitting with runners in scoring position is just not something these guys do very often.

As much as I like Gamel and he is gonna be a good ballplayer. He isn;t in Braun's league with the bat. I think Gamel would do okay if he got some starts and I want to see that. But he is not going to set the world on fire like Braun has. Braun has done in his first two years what only HOF players have done. -
Yeah this way if the other teams 3,4,5 hitters are coming up in the 7th or 8th you can use Gallardo then and Gagne/Mota for the other inning and then go Torres in the 9th. It would be awesome, but I won't get to excited just yet. Everything I hear from Melvin makes it seem like a very long shot.

and not to be a jerk, but Gamel isn't a Braun type so we can wait IMO I don't think you were being a jerk JJHardy7. Gamel is good and going to be very good, but he is no Braun. As a matter of fact few can come into the league and do what he has done. I wouldn't expect Gamel to come close but better then Hall or Counsell. -
Man, we get swept and only lose one game. And how hopefully we can feast on the Pads and Reds.
