As some have already mentioned, I forgot CC can hit a lil bit. That will be a nice addition as well. I am very curious as to who's spot he takes and who in the pen goes down when Bush or McClung go to the pen.

I would almost bet anything it WON'T be Parra. Not sure at all between Bush and McClung. Both have been pretty good, who do you demote to the pen and then who from pen goes?

Sounds good to me! CC a brewer, Gamel and Escobar still in the system, if we lose CC we get 2 more draft picks. I'm all in. Very excited! Can't wait to see CC at MP on Wednesday at the game.

Yeah, that is how I felt the entire time. If it was just LaPorta and a few spare parts I was all in. But if Gamel or Escobar were mentioned I was very anti-Sabathia.

This thread is awesome. 75 pages! It just grows by the minute last time I looked I believe yesterday it was in the 40's. I'm just thanking God Gamel and Escobar are not in this deal. I'm getting pumped for Sabathia for the rest of this year and 2 more picks in the draft.

Man it was such an awesome game to be at. I usually never am at games that are high scoring this was a true treat today. Braun, Hart and Hardy all were huge. Suppan, not so much.

I think Burrell is having a great year. He was one of the guys I was voting for every time for the NL OF. Very happy Braun made it, I was at the game today when the announced he made it we all stood up and gave Braun a standing O. Also sweet that Sheets is in and Hart has a chance in the final vote.

I like being in the wild card lead. Feels nice.

Here's to a series win and possibly going for a sweep tomorrow! Start the home stand off right boys!

My friends and I try to go to at least 1 or 2 T-Rats games a year. We never know any of the players since its a Seattle affiliate. But always have a great time at the games, very good stadium for A ball and have very good food and at good prices. Plus who can't get down with Fang shooting Brats into the stands with the "Bratzooka". If the Ratts became the Brewers A club I would probably go to even more games and follow much more closely being that it is less then a hour drive for me to Apple-ton.

I have said some pretty harsh things about Hardy. I have to apologize to him, he is as hot right now as I have maybe ever seen a hitter. Hope it lasts awhile longer and that he can stay consistent for the rest of the year.

Not good for my fantasy team. Tulow had just come off the DL and was starting to hit a lil bit.

I'm now to the point where if it happens, great. If it doesn't, great. We either get a top tier pitcher or we keep some of our very good future stars.

I still dream of a Brian Roberts trade, but I doubt that will happen.

That Branyan swing series of photos is sweet!

Don't get me wrong, I would love to get James Shields. I just don't see any reason the Rays would part with him. I was just wondering if this was a legit rumor or you were just throwing it out there.
  17. BrewCrewForever
Did I miss something? Are you talking about James Shields of the Rays?

Back-to-back! The mustard belt stays on US soil for at least another year. Well done Joey, it was quit awesome to watch that event in HD.
  19. BrewCrewForever
Well at least Gamel and Escobar look to be safe. If were giving up LaPorta, Green and Cain will we maybe get a relief pitcher to go with CC?
  20. BrewCrewForever
I love him as a middle relief guy. He could be an okay starter, but seems so good at middle innings that he should just stay in that role IMO.
  21. BrewCrewForever
If it's LaPorta and another lesser prospect or MLB player fine, pull the trigger lets get it done. But I don't want Gamel or Escobar in that deal anywhere.
  22. BrewCrewForever
You are not, I never thought to high of Jeff.
  23. BrewCrewForever
    We have him, Eric Gagne.
  24. BrewCrewForever
LaPorta and Escobar for Sabathia? No thanks.

Let's start the home stand off right! Please no Mota.
