  1. I don't have a big problem with Mota now, but why you don't pitch Villy a second inning a guy who can go multiple innings with ease after such an effortless 10 pitch inning in the 7th is just so stupid. And the fact that Villy has been outstanding since moving to the pen where he thrives.
  2. At least one of them, which would minimize the damage. But Yost is to dumb to put a gold glover in as a defensive replacement late in a game. Yet he did it for Braun all the time at 3B last year, now I know Kapler is not a bad defensive player but he isn't Cameron that is for sure.
  3. Ughhh, bad memories. It's gonna maybe take a day to get the bad taste out of my mouth from this loss. I may take a day off tomorrow night and not watch the game. See if that brings them a win.
  4. This is just one of those games that you shouldn't lose. Just pathetic. And now for the smug post game presser with Ned. Yuck.
  5. Ned, if you want to start Kapler for Cameron while he is hot I have no problem with that. I do however have a problem with leaving a gold glove CF on your bench late in the game with a 3 run lead. Idiot!
  6. As much as I want Yost gone, it isn't going to happen. I have just come to that conclusion. If it was gonna happen it would have happened after the Boston series. It didn't and we are stuck for the season now.
  7. So angry right now. Way more then any other loss, this was in the bag. A formality, it was over. But Yost the idiot pulls Villy and then Mota and Shouse blow up. Should be 5 game over .500 and on a 7 game win streak right now. Ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  8. I think I'm more mad tonight after this loss then any other this season. And I have been very mad before. I mean to lose a game that your up 4-1 in the 8th having a chance to win your seventh straight and finally win a game in Colorado starting off a road trip on a good note getting an awesome start from our ace. Just mind blowing. I mean 6 straight hits without an out is pathetic.
  9. Branyan over/under 20 HR for the season? That's tough, I have to go over.
  10. 2 more and you're rich! I wish! I for see at lest 2 more to make me correct.
  11. Thank you sir may I have another! 3TO and JJ back to back! That is what I'm talking about.
  12. Braun and Fielder with a couple of ugly AB's there.
  13. I know its only 1 run but I just have a bad feeling.
  14. Yeah I think Kapler was there for a year or less. But I'm just guessing, but I thought it was brief.
  15. Over/Under 2 for Branyan HR's this series? I will go over.
  16. Ah yes, that famous "coaches corner" Weaver segment that can be found on youtube.com. It's very good.
  17. Someone on here a few weeks back was saying "I'm so sick of 82, Yount, Molitor, etc..." And while I understand it a bit, how could anyone not fully appreciate Yount? I mean, forget the HOF stats - how many guys out there can claim to have played the most games at two different positions in the history of a major league franchise... ? Yount was pure gold and a hero for more than a few of us growing up. I imagine that, had the internet and around-the-clock sports reporting been around while he played that Yount would have Favre-like lore in Wisconsin... It might have been me who was sick of 82' I know I have said that before. I would like to clarify though that I could never, ever get sick of Yount and Molitor. In my heart and mind they are just as big to me as Favre was as a Wisconsin sports hero. Not only were Yount and Molly super great players they statistically both always played every game with the effort that it was their last. Never taking a play off and always hustling at 110%. I just wish Sal Bando wasn't such a moron so Molly could have played his whole career in a Brewers uniform like Robin did.
  18. Although I see why Shields did it, I was a little upset because he is on my fantasy team and because of the ejection he only pitched two innings. And they were lousy. Personally, Crisp should have known it was coming and he needs to wear it like a man and go to first. It's not like Shields went above the shoulder or eve close to that.
  19. I'd be fine if we continue to hit the long ball to score runs. We have enough guys that can do it often so its cool.
  20. I'm also interested in a Fingers shirt, just wondering what it will look like or say though.
  21. The McClung/Yost/Pujols incident came late in a game, late in the season during a pennant race. That is why a lot of people had a problem with it. This was what the 2nd inning of a game in early June. Seems different to me at least. That is why I don't have a problem that Maddon had Shields throw at Crisp.
