  1. Nice hustle Prince! Come on Corey we need clutch right here!
  2. Suppan pitching very well tonight. To bad this lineup isn;t giving him jack. Maybe we should have thrown Dillon, Kapler and Rivera out there.
  3. How about one of those mini helmets they put the fries in at Miller Park, but it is the ball and glove logo and signed in silver sharpie by Ben Sheets?
  4. I just looked and saw the date I joined this fine message board was 7-27-04. The same day Branyan hit the longest HR in Miller Park history. That is awesome.
  5. I don't think Braun will ever in his career play 2B.
  6. Looking to trade a Braun retro bobble. One thing though about the bobble is the bat came in the package missing the rivets on the bottom of the bat that screws into Ryan's hands. Will trade for any one of the following: Bob Uecker 2001 SGA or Pepsi Eric Gagne (Any Gagne bobble) Don Money 2002 Beloit SGA Ben Sheets 2002 All-Star Futures Bob Uecker 2004 Indianapolis Indians Hank Aaron 2002 SGA
  7. So glad I picked up Bruce in my fantasy league before anyone else. Normally I always get beat to making a free agent pickup like that. Dude is straight mashing.
  8. I to think he could be a Lee type hitter. I hope he stays at 3B because would be nice to have a lefty bat with some pop playing the hot corner. Is there a good chance he stays there? I heard his defense has been better of late in Huntsville. Otherwise does he move to 1B?
  9. Good point Brian, perhaps I was just dreaming how great our rotation would look with Greinke in it. What about making a deal for Livan Hernandez if the Twins would part with him?
  10. For switch hitters: 1. Mantle 2. Murray 3. Chipper Jones
  11. This is a great idea. I think Greinke could be gotten for a player(s) not named Gamel or LaPorta so I would be all for it. If we could trade Hall or Hardy with a any prospect other then Gamel or LaPorta I say do it Doug!
  12. If he didn't get so under that ball it would have had been a scoreboard shot. I wanna know when Branyan bobblehead day is? If only the Brewers could add guys mid-season to the promo list.
  13. If Braun can handle CF I would like to see him there and keep Hart in RF because of his arm. Of course LaPorta in LF.
  14. Braun and Sheets both better make it that is for sure.
  15. If I was going to the game I would for sure give DD a standing O. Dude has battled through a lot. But, it's all about the Crew! Come on guys, lets keep this streak rolling! Hopefully hot soup tomorrow not cold soup.
  16. And the best thing is we already did our business with the Cubs in their dump of a stadium. Now we get them at our home where we play very well.
  17. I think that a career over .800 OPS is awesome. But when you are in the mid to high .900 or like a few of those guys in the 1.000 that is just wrong and not fair.
  18. 1.045 - Albert Pujols 1.038 - Jimmie Foxx 1.017 - Hank Greenburg 1.010 - Rogers Hornsby .999 - Manny Ramirez All the guys on that OPS list are great and have great OPS's, but the above guys OPS numbers are just sick. I would say those 5 with Aaron and A-Rod thrown in would be my list. I know that is 7.
  19. Gallardo is a #2 type starter. Hall & Gwynn would be much closer to a one year rental or a #4 type starter. (Which would still be an improvement over McClung) Yeah I suppose Hall/Gwynn wouldn't be worth a Gallardo type. But I would think a good #3 or 4 would be good, rental or not.
  20. Branyan's swing is just so sweet, real smooth and never really swings out of his shoes. Just a strong guy who can hit them far without really trying.
  21. Gamel hitting wise will be ready to play 3B everyday but defensively yuck. I don't want to have another year of a Braun type of a player at 3B. I don't like the Branyan/Dillon platoon at 3B yuck that is almost as bad as the Graff/Counsel platoon last year. From what I have heard Gamel is starting to improve his defense. As for Branyan/Dillon being worse then Graff/Counsell I would have to disagree. Dillon isn't going to give you the power Hall would in the platoon but he is decent hitter. Branyan will play most days anyway because there are more RHP then LHP.
  22. No doubt, I remember his first go around with the Brewers I had no idea he was that good with the glove. He makes all the routine plays and makes some fantastic ones as well.
  23. Little do they know how much effort it takes to get all of these silly things http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Yeah, I consider myself a collector of bobbles. But I don't get them all. It would take way to much effort for me. I just get the ones I can and try to trade for ones I don't have if I have extras of any. Like today I had extras from my fiancee and my Mom who of course could care less.
  24. I don't have a prediction per say, but I will say June will be a good month for us and we will gain some ground on the Cubs and be within striking distance.
