Yup, that just about sums it up. It's par for the course for these players that can't hit with runners in scoring position. I just hope Suppan can get through this inning with no more damage.

Wow, pathetic. Runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs and you get ZERO runs. I'm very close to turning this garbage off.

Well he did do good in that role last season. And honestly, who else can you bat 2nd? Weeks or Cameron? I think not. Trust me, I would rather not bat Hardy 2nd. Hardy is probably my least favorite player on the team.

I don't know about 9th but sure not 2nd. Since Kendall seems to be the only guy with a decent OBP and because we really need Hart to bat 5th since no one else looks like they could here is the lineup I wouldn't mind seeing. 1. Kendall- C2. Hardy- SS 3. Braun- LF 4. Fielder- 1B 5. Hart- RF 6. Cameron- CF 7. Hall- 3B 8. Weeks- 2B 9. Pitcher

Cameron has been awful since that first Cubs game and a little bit of the Houston series.

I don't think McCarver understands that bunting is also apart of Corey's game. He is pretty good at it and has speed to go with being an RBI guy.

Totally agree Rluz. I'm not saying to Branyan objectors that Russ should play 3B everyday and bat cleanup. I'm saying he is a better option off the bench then Gwynn since we have a slap hitting lefty in Counsell and have two other guys who can play the OF in Kapler and Dillon. Branyan gives you muscle off the bench and can start once in awhile at 3B for Hall against a tough RHP. Yes he will K quite a bit, but he will take his walks and hit some out of the yard. It just seems like a no brainer to me for Russ to be a bench player on the big club.
