    That is a good point, I forgot about Weaver. I would assume that the Brewers will give him a chance at some point to see if he can help at all on the big club before another team can sign him.

    I still think the Brewers are in it. I'm not giving up and won't. But yeah the Cubs are playing very very good baseball right now. Watched some of their game against Houston last night on ESPN and they are just flat out hitting.

    The sad thing is if they go and take 4 or 5 out of these next 7 road games Doug and Mark will probably not make a move. They will think things are okay and turning around. But then not soon far down the road we will go on another 5 or more game losing streak and they still won't do anything then we will win a few and the beat will continue to go on. Just when it looks like Yost has lost his job, he wins some games and it calms people. Well I'm sick of that. Just get it over with, quick like a band aid, RIGHT OFF!

    Well the off day came and went. Yost is still the Manager, my only hope is he is not the Manager once they get back to Miller Park May 27th.

    I think it was mostly to get a up close look at Branyan, Nelson and Nix since Doug knows we badly need power from the left side off the bench and to start once in awhile. But I would imagine he also wanted to talk to Kremblas a little bit about his thoughts on possibly managing the big club if Yost is in fact like most of us hope fired.

    After hearing those comments from TH's latest blog on what Melvin said I have zero confidence that Yost will be fired today. I guess we will probably be putting up with him for at least 7 more games.

    I tied Yamipod and it was very easy, thing is it wasn't free. It only let me copy 5 songs for free. After that it prompted me to pay, did I do something wrong?

    I don't think either would be worse then Yost but they sure would not be my first choice of Frank Kremblas.

    I really wanted to see Gagne get in their and convert a save at some point during the series just to rub it in those Sox fans faces. Since of course they would have booed Eric out of the building. I did like the standing O they gave Kapler that was pretty neat. It was also cool on Fox Saturday to see Gagne receive his ring, very sharp looking. Overall though I have to give them a D. I mean they had the bats going decent but the pitching was just not there and they got swept so no better then a D for me. Ryan Braun however gets an A.

    I have no problem with TH. I actually like reading his Brewers Blog on jsonline.com and I like reading his recaps of the games.

    I like the idea of moving Weeks down in the order and having Kendall try batting leadoff. Kendall has done it before. He takes walks, is hitting pretty good, has a decent OBP and runs decent for a catcher. Wouldn't hurt to try it moves Weeks to 8th or 7th.

    Yeah I would love to see the Brewers go 4-2 on this stretch in Pitts and Wash, but then I have a bad feeling Doug and Mark will be fine with Yost again and think things are turning around until the next 5 plus game losing streak and then we are at this point again. Might as well just cut ties now and start fresh, things just are not gonna get better with Yost around here in my own opinion.

    I hope it is true that Yost is getting canned. But I hope it is not Simmons taking over but Kremblas. I know in the post TH says that Sveum is more of a candidate then Simmons. But I still think Kremblas is the #1 candidate, at least I hope. I guess I don' mind if its Frank, Ted or Dale as long as Ned is gone.

    Great post RoCo. I totally agree and I hope he does become an icon like Yount. A lifetime Brewer, #8 retired and a HOF. (edit: quoting message not necessary... it's one post above --1992)

    I don't have season tickets but even if they finish below .500 I might get them next year because I might be able to afford them now.

    Yeah I second that. If Branyan or even Nelson is not up on the big club by the end of this road trip or sooner I will probably explode.

    I say cut ties now and lets see if we can turn this thing around. I just really now strongly believe we can't win as long as Ned Yost is the Manager of this team.

    I like the fact to that it bothers him because he wants to win so bad. And he sees they need to start winning and he's going out there and doing something about it.

    Dear Doug Melvin, For the most part I have really liked what you have done as GM of this team. But you have to make two moves tomorrow on our off day. You need to fire Manager Ned Yost and promote Frank Kremblas from AAA as interim Manager. Then you need to send Tony Gwynn to Nashville and call up Russell Branyan or Brad Nelson. Preferably Branyan.     How the hell does Prince Fielder drop that throw from Hardy? That just is inexcusable. And then he smiles and kind of laughs about it. I doubt Braun would laugh if he dropped a routine flyball.
