  1. Can't blame Provus if he leaves to be the #1 guy in Minnesota. I hope he stays though, really enjoy his work. While I do not think he is as good as Powell or even Hughes were, he is pretty close. Will be tough to find a better #2 guy behind Uecker than Provus has been. My dream would be for them to have Uecker do the entire game and get Cirillo in as a analyst to Uecker's play-by-play.
  2. I like the logo that I seen on the hats and shirts. Probably going to get a t-shirt. Anyone know what a ticket usually costs to go to one of these games? A few bucks? Never been to a Mallards game so I have no clue.
  3. Living in Germantown it is a short drive to Mequon. For sure going to check out a few games next summer.
  4. That is sweet, could you post a picture? I have a Paul Molitor SGA bat, not sure from what year. Not in the greatest condition anymore. I was a moron kid that actually used it to hit baseballs. It is the classic Molitor bat, half black and half wood grain color.
  5. At what point does WWE put the strap back on Punk and give him a real title reign? Survivor Series?
  6. turborickey, check your inbox.
  7. Barmes is by far my #1 choice to be the starting SS in 2012. Really hope Doug and co. make a hard push for him.
  8. Really looking forward to checking box scores when Bradley pitches and hearing scouting reports from Keith Law.
  9. Loved the untucking of jerseys after wins and I love beast mode even more. It was a cool team thing to do together. And like someone else said, the fact that TLR and the Cardinals hated it made me like it that much more.
  10. I do think young guys like Green, Maldonado, Peralta, Fiers and Scarpetta should get shots to be on the 2012 team.
  11. Despite Saito's age, I hope they bring him back on another 1 year deal. Getting an above average glove at SS is a MUST. Hope they move Hart to 1B and get better glove in RF who also has a bat. Will be a fun and interesting offseason. Can't wait to see what Mark A, Doug and company have up their sleeves.
  12. I think Hank Aaron would be the best choice, since Yount, Selig and Uecker have all already thrown out 1st pitches this postseason.
  13. Yount doing beast mode. Hopefully it is good luck. Must win.
  14. Treat Yo Self 2011! Loved all the treat yo self stuff with Tom, Donna and Ben. As usual, lots of good Swanson stuff.
  15. Enjoyed all the Dwight and Mose. Can never go wrong with those two.
  16. Have 1 of each. Looking to make a deal. Here is what I am looking for: 2010 Bernie Brewer 2010 Cecil Cooper 2006 Robin Yount (70's) 2006 Robin Yount (Powder Blue) 2002 Brewermaster Let me know, thanks!
  17. I would be okay playing McGehee at 3B only if Hairston was playing SS over Betancourt.
  18. Well that is good news. Thing I don't get, if they wanted to keep the title on ADR for the Mexico tour, why put it on Cena for a few weeks. That is lame.
  19. I really enjoyed the 12 man tag match last night. Lots of good action in that with a lot of good wrestlers. Pretty ticked they gave ADR the title back already. Was hoping Punk would win it back. Wondering where they are going with the Miz and R-Truth firing angle. Those are two of the best talents they have and they are not getting in-ring time because they are "fired". Hope they are back soon wrestling in matches.
  20. Oh yeah, I forgot about that Buckner interview. That was quite spooky. Drehs wrote a piece that is now up on espn.com about Braun and the Brewers. It is pretty good.
  21. Yount, the man on the field and off it. Both when he played and in retirement. Love Robin.
  22. Finally seen this Friday night. Loved it. Thought it was very detailed and interesting with all the people they brought in to interview about what happened. All the home footage people shot at the game was also pretty neat. The beginning of the film with the Buckner stuff was also well done. I feel bad for Bartman, that dude can never have a complete normal life and will always be haunted by that night. Even though it was not his fault. Alex Gonzalez screwed that game up as well as Dusty and the Cubs pitching. As for Alou, I have no doubt if he does not react with that tantrum no one even knows or cares that Bartman caused Alou to not catch that ball.
  23. Yeah, hopefully that or an MVP Braun bobble. Maybe a combo of the two. That pose with an MVP trophy on the base or something.
  24. I will be at The Keg tonight, I want to see a clinch and party like it's 1981, 1982 and 2008 all over again. Go Brewers, go Ryan Dempster.
  25. Ron's line at the beginning of the episode about the large amount of ground chuck he keeps in his desk was classic.
