  1. The Punk/Cena match at MITB would have been even better if Jim Ross was calling it instead of that dope Michael Cole. So glad Ross is back on Raw.
  2. I don't think anyone seems to know for sure expect people inside the Brewers or Mets organizations.
  3. Anyone need one? If so here is what I am looking for in trade: 2010 Hank Aaron SGA 2010 Bernie Brewer SGA
  4. If Gallardo doesn't finally get one I will be pretty upset. He seems a lock along with Marcum and Lucroy.
  5. I agree 100%. He can be an Austin type character. Not exactly like Austin of course, but that guy who does what he wants and kind of walks that line of a heel and babyface.
  6. Heard a rumor that Punk might be the leader of a heel stable with Colt Cabana and The Kings of Wrestling. Both Cabana and KOW are rumored to be signing with WWE soon.
  7. Guys I like right now are Punk, Zack Ryder, Otunga & McGillicutty, John Morrison, Christian and Orton. When I came back and started watching I was shocked that guys like Edge, Jericho and Batista were gone. I swear they were still around even when I casually flipped it on just a year ago or so. Still love Triple H even though he is in a non-wrestling role now.
  8. Yeah a lot of writers on various wrestling sites call it "Super Cena" when he beats all odds and always comes back and wins.
  9. Yeah, pretty crazy that Punk vs Cena was the first 5 star WWE match by Dave Meltzer since 1997. But he match was that good, only thing that would have made it better would have been Jim Ross calling it, not Michael Cole. I totally agree on Orton as a face, he just can't pull it off. He seems uncomfortable. I was not watching during the Nexus stable, but all I have seen and read is that it was great but they totally screwed it up and now it pretty much went away with no real reason.
  10. What does everyone think of the current angle Punk is involved in? I have to be honest, as I said in the WM27 thread I used to be as into wrestling as I am baseball. But over the last 5 years I got out of it. But ever since they started this current angle with Punk and really pushing him WWE has me hooked again. Punk as he says is clearly the best wrestling in the world and he is fantastic on the mic. I think they may have rushed him back a little too soon. Maybe he should have been off TV at least a few more weeks. I am very anxious to see how they explain his return to Raw last week on this coming Monday's show. Punk was on Bill Simmons podcast this week and I liked how honest he was about everything. Saying this is not the "attitude" era anymore but the "reality" era and that he along with a lot of the younger talent want to make wrestling cool again. I hope to things come from the Punk vs Cena rematch at Summerslam. First that Punk wins, if Cena wins everything they did would be for nothing. Second, make it a 2/3 falls match. I think that would really spice it up. Thoughts?
  11. Still looking for a Yount and still have either a Axford or McGehee to trade. Your choice! Let me know, thanks.
  12. If Green doesn't get a chance this season, I kind of doubt he ever makes it to the bigs with the Brewers. He has been hot all year and we have a black hole at 3B. Why Doug has not made this move yet just blows my mind.
  13. Very excited to see Davis finally promoted to AA. Will be a big test to see if he is the hitter he has been in A and A+. Hoping he continues to rake.
  14. Really confused by Wilson sitting after two good games. Give him a week or two and see what you have. Betancourt should ride the pine.
  15. Bill just said it's supposed to be in the upper 90's in Denver today, maybe that's why. Yeah, if I was the SP I would go with gray in that heat. Ah yes, that would make sense then.
  16. Anyone else find it odd that the Brewers have worn the road grey tops for this entire series? Those are the tops they wear the least, usually they go for the blue "Milwaukee" tops on the road. Just found that interesting.
  17. My lineup today would have been: Morgan - CF Hart- RF Weeks - 2B Fielder- 1B Kotsay - LF McGehee - 3B Kottaras - C Wilson - SS
  18. I really hope Taylor Green is out of the lineup for Nashville today http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. Loe has tons of value, when a manager uses him properly vs right handed batters. His sinker and slider are filthy vs righties. Hopefully some day Roenicke will realize this or one of his other coaches (I am looking at your Narron and Kranitz!) will let him know.
  20. Winning feels good. Hope Braun is not going to miss a bunch more time.
