Loved the Jericho stuff. Classic Jericho, had the fans eating from the palm of his hand and then he became insufferable and they hated him 5 minutes later. Awesome. Punk vs Ziggler was good, but of course given full time will be amazing at the RR. Kind of like that the match ended in a count out, something different than a DQ or clean win.

Big Raw tonight, Punk vs Ziggler for the WWE Title and the possible return of either Jericho or Undertaker. Should be good stuff. ----- Continued from: viewtopic.php?p=759254#p759254 Original Lead: viewtopic.php?t=25550

Nice! Brewers didn't play so good when they were on Fox a few years back but were better last year. Look forward to a little more national pub for the team.

Floor seats are AWFUL, unless you are in the first few rows. I had middle of the pack and back of floor sears before at WWE shows at the BC and I regret ever buying them. Much better off getting the best lower level seats you can get. IMO.

Didn't buy to many album that came out in 2011 in 2011. So my list is short. Foo Fighters "Wasting Light" Radiohead "King Of Limbs"

Tonight's main event of Raw was awesome. Punk/Bryan/Ryder vs Ziggler/Miz/ADR. Awesome 6 man tag match, excited for the direction WWE is going. But like Brett said, they have tons of in-ring talent. Vince and the writers have to get behind them and let them work and give them good storylines. For once, actually build a story and feud and quit booking on the fly and changing everything last minute all the time.

We have been lucky to have Hart be the 3rd or 4th best hitter on our team the past few years. He would be the first or second best on other teams. Very undervalued player, no doubt. Does his defense drive me nuts sometimes? Yes. That is really my only complaint. And that might be grasping at straws.

Probably my favorite WM of all-time. Jam packed card. And the Austin vs Rock main event with Austin turning heel was awesome. By the way Brett, love the Mr. Perfect gif. Ha.

I think I am going to go for Yount this year. I have a ROMLB in case that my wife won in some drawing at her work. Might as well get a good signature on it. I won a lot of Yount merch but nothing autographed. Time to change that.

    Stacked card, wow.

    How about Batista?
  12. BrewCrewForever
Is there any chance it is Rey Mysterio? He has been out awhile and should be back soon I would think. I would much rather have it be Jericho though. Punk vs Jericho at WM28 would be incredible.

Ben Sheets was incredible in 2004. Just incredible. If he had more wins, I am sure he would have won the Cy Young over Clemens that year.

Yeah, the slow mo thing was pretty lame. Was always a little awkward on the mic, but dude could work a match.
  15. BrewCrewForever
TNA has always had good wrestlers but bad production values, announcers and bookers. IMO.

Punk vs Miz would be a good WWE Title feud. Perhaps that will start after TLC PPV or maybe going into that PPV. I read that tonight on Raw is going to be the last appearance by John Morrison. His contract is up and they are not renewing it. Shame, thought that guy had some real talent. Still remember him when he was on Tough Enough (season 2 I think?)

Picked up season 3 of Parks and Rec on DVD for only $18.99 on an amazon.com black Friday special. Was pretty happy bout that.

Yeah I would like to see him and Vickie split, but somehow keep Ziggler heel. Not really sure how they could do that though. I'm sure they can find a way. Maybe Ryder beats Ziggler for the US Title at TLC, with Ziggler still looking strong somehow and then Ziggler sets his sights on the WWE Title.

Agree fully on the Ziggler/Punk match. Terrific action, lots of near falls. Vickie is great in her role. Punk went awkwardly out of the ring, and I thought he was legitimately injured, and I made an audible gasp when Ziggler did that front slam toward the end of the match. Best match I've seen on Raw in a long time. I third that. Fantastic match. Love Punk and Ziggler is really growing on me as a major heel. I like Brett's idea of Ziggler winning the Rumble and going Punk vs Ziggler at WM28. Maybe a title vs title match. That would be sweet.

I love Ryan Braun. So, so, so, so happy he is on my favorite team. He just keeps adding to his future HOF resume.

Really encouraged by Gennett's second half in A+ last year and now this AFL performance. Can't wait to see how he does at AA in 2012. He sure seems to be gaining more buzz as a prospect.

"Can I write you a check? Just don't cash it until tomorrow. Hahaha." On a side not, I pretty much enjoy all and any interactions between Tom and Jean Ralphio.
  23. BrewCrewForever
I still have at numerous things each with with this show. But yeah, they will never reach the heights of seasons 1-4 again. More specifically 2 and 3. Those were incredible.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Matheny has my respect forever. That guy got hit in the face by a pitch, was spitting out blood and didn't even take a knee. Nuff said. Oh and he was a pretty darn good catcher. Only good one the Crew had until now with Lucroy. If he goes to STL, I would also hate them slightly less.

Thanks OWBC, I figured the prices were around the same as a T-Rats game and that seems to be the case. $35 for all you can eat and drink seems like a heck of a steal at Mallards games. Hopefully the Chinooks do something similar.
