Please Doug, please sign Russell. It would be a dream come true to see him in the navy and gold of the Brewers again. Could be a very helpful bench bat.

I am thinking 6-3. But I could just as easily see 4-5, so I am torn.

Rickie Weeks is an All-Star 2B if I ever saw one.

I think it depends how the rest of this season goes for both Gomez and Morgan. If Schafer gets healthy and comes back and plays off the charts he might have a shot, but I think 2013 might be more his year. I have a feeling unless Gomez completely falls off the map he will be back in CF in 2012.

First episode post Michael Scott? Awful. Not that the past few seasons have been very good anyway, but I can see the ship is going to sink real fast without Michael.

Shaun Marcum has come as advertised. Goes deep into games, throws strikes and misses quite a few bats even without a big fastball. Love watching him work.

Please Brewers offense, give Mr. Greinke some runs and flash a little leather in the field. Thanks.

I have heard good things about Schafer, seems that if he can stay healthy for a full season we could see how good he is.

That's actually a very good comparison. Both are very good at something that's undervalued by casual fans (D & ST's), and pretty much suck at the glaring aspects of the game (hitting & coverage). Also, nice job on the podcasts man. I've listened to a few of them and you've got a great voice for radio haha. Gobias, thanks a lot I appreciate it. I actually do have a degree in broadcasting, lol. Worked par-time at a stations as a DJ for awhile but never found a full-time gig. For me the only think Gomez need to improve on for defense is throwing accuracy. Great arm, but does not have much control on his throws. Otherwise he does everything on defense as good as you can in CF.

Kotsay in CF would be a major disaster. I will give him some props for that catch in RF yesterday. Never thought he was going to get to that ball. If Gomez needs a day off while Morgan is out, let Boggs patrol CF for a game.

Didn't Navarro throw one for a different team? For some reason I remember that. But I know I could be way wrong.

Ron was fantastic in this episode. As usual I guess, but this one specifically. Loved Tom's line about finding an iPod Touch in the public forum gift bag, so funny. I just love this show, easily my favorite comedy on TV. Michael Schur is a genius.

As someone once put it on twitter, Carlos Gomez is the Brewers version of Jarrett Bush for the Packers. A very polarizing figure who looks great one second and terrible the next. Lots of raw talent and ability but sometimes lacks the smarts. I have been hard on Gomez in the past but you just take the good with the bad I guess. And as long as he bats 8th I am okay with him being an everyday player.

No, don't get me wrong. I love Weeks. I think he is an All-Star 2B. I just don't think he is on the class of Braun, Fielder, Tex, Cano and A-Rod.
  15. BrewCrewForever
Tex, Cano and A-Rod is a heck of a 1-2-3. Like that more than Pujols, Holliday and Berkman. I think Bran and Fielder might be the best 1-2, but they don't really have a 3rd. Weeks? Hart? McGehee? They are good hitters but not in the same class.
  16. BrewCrewForever
    McClendon>Green. That is pretty clear.
  17. BrewCrewForever
Only fitting in a 6-0 game.

If Macha got 2 years, I doubt they would fire Roenicke in the middle of his first season.
  19. BrewCrewForever
Help us Zack! Although even if he pitches well, our offense has to show up for a change.

    1. Four Horseman (Original) 2. Degeneration X (Any Incarnation) 3. Evolution 4. The Nation (Rock led version w/ Owen Hart) 5. The Corporation

I was in the Dells with my wife and some friends earlier this week. Went to Moose Jaw Pizza and Brewery. Tried their 10 beer sampler. Some really good stuff, my favorites were their IPA, Amber and Honey. If you are ever in the Dells I would recommend stopping in there. The food was also great, had maybe the best meatball sandwich I ever had.

I was quite happy when I heard the news. The thought of a player as good as Ryan Braun being like another Robin Yount and spending his entire career here in Milwaukee is very exciting. Not sure how this deal will look toward the end of it, but I am very pumped for the present and the near future.
  24. BrewCrewForever
When Morgan comes back, it better not be Boggs being sent down. The Erick Almonte project needs to end.

If I remember correctly, Attanasio is NOT a Dodgers fan. He is a Yankees fan. His only tie to LA is that he lives out there because his business is there.
