  1. Yeah, 10.5 out with the All-Star break a week away. I would say they are done. It would take a run of epic proportions and for the Reds and Cardinals both to collapse. I just don't see that happening. Let's start preparing for 2011 while watching some of our young players play.
  2. Are there any other Brewers players out there?
  3. His stance does look a tad different from when he came into the league in 2007. But not a big dramatic change. Braun is probably into the worst funk of his career. But he is too good of a player to stay this bad, I'm sure he will go on a hot streak and his numbers will rise and be back to his career norms by the time the season is over.
  4. Yikes. Escobar having a heck of a time fielding baseballs.
  5. No doubt, the ability to have guys that can play two spots really helps. Depending what guys they resign, and what rookies they keep they could have a very deep bench.
  6. Yes, and it's getting old. He might be the most frustrating thing about this team right now, for me anyway. Because I know he is way better than this.
  7. I would think some teams may be interested in Riske as well. He has looked pretty darn good since coming back from surgery. Has his velocity back around 90 as well. I'm fine with selling off Coffey, Villanueva, Riske, Hart, Fielder, Counsell, Edmonds, etc. It seems like every time the Brewers look like they might make a run, they lose a game or two and just don't seem to be gaining any ground. Might as well sell and get some of the youngsters up to get ready for 2011.
  8. Man, Braun has been very frustrating over the past two months.
  9. PG: Jennings SG: Salmons SF: Maggette PF: Gooden C: Bogut That seems to be a pretty darn good starting 5. Guys like Delfino, Mba Moute, Illyasova, Douglas-Roberts, Sanders, Brezec, etc. coming off the bench. I think the Bucks should be a top 4 team in the East. I just hope they can resign Ridnour or sign another good solid backup PG.
  10. While Braun's numbers are starter worthy, still one of the top NL OFers and deserves to be at the game.
  11. Pretty cool and classy thing to do. Geoff was one of only a few bright spots in the late 90's and early 2000's.
  12. Pretty awesome that even in a down seasons, we still have three guys worthy of being All-Stars. And honestly, should have had four. Weeks got jobbed. Infante over Weeks? Come one. It's not even close.
  13. Awesome news. Cain has had a terrific year between AA and AAA. Will be nice to see what he can do at the big league level. I just hope he actually gets some PT and does not just rot on the bench.
  14. When Davis comes back I believe since Villa has an option he should be the one to go down to AAA. He has been pretty bad since his hot April. I really wish Macha would have gone with Loe or Coffey today in the 7th. Nice start for Bush. Went 6 only giving up 2 runs. Can't complain with that, offense left too many guys on base today.
  15. That has to be worth a pretty penny.
  16. I’m really at a boiling point as it concerns Fielder and Braun not coming through with men on. Game after game the bottom of the order and/or Rickie and Corey get on base and then Fielder and Braun go quietly. It’s beyond frustrating at this point.
  17. I think this may be the only Brewers game all season that is not broadcast by either FSWI, WMLW, Fox, ESPN or TBS.
  18. No way would I trade Brett Lawrie. He is only 20 years old and is doing very well in AA. He has an impact type bat, not sure if he will stay at 2B or not, but his bat will play just about anywhere. He could be up as soon as sometime in 2011, and probably starting in 2012. I would very disappointed if they traded Brett.
  19. In now the 4th season that they have batted 3/4 in the order, I don't remember Ryan and Prince leaving this many guys on base in a season. Seems the 1/2 hitters are getting on a lot and then Ryan and Prince come up and go down quietly. Got to get that going.
  20. That was a brutal inning. It sure would be a heart breaker to lose this game.
  21. Yeah, Hart seems a lock to get picked as a backup and Braun as a starter. Question is, will Yovani get the nod? Could happen. I like how the Brewers now get 2 or 3 guys every year. I remember all the years in the mid 90's to early 2000's when we only had our one guy get in. It's a nice change.
  22. Come on Manny, Chris picked it up yesterday and showed he need to stay in the rotation. Need you to do the same today.
  23. I said before the home stand I was hoping for at least 7-2. If they can take 2 of 3 from Houston they will have done that. Hope they can. Go Brewers!
