  1. No. You can get non marquee team lower level seats on stubhub for 25 bucks or less. And even less on the day of the game from somebody on the street.
  2. A bad investment, probably. But if they did build up the area then there would be something of interest nearby. That would be the point. People already stop year round at Fridays and the team store. Not a massive amount of people no. And plenty do walk to Miller Park during the season. Yes mostly frugal ones who did drive from somewhere else and don't want to pay for parking so they park on the street or at a business on Miller Park Way. But the ballpark is still accessible to walkers. And to say that no one wants to live in a fancy residential building way outside downtown is just false. There are fancy residential buildings all over the place in the suburbs.
  3. My upper deck seat for game 5 of the ALCS was $12.
  4. The cheapest beer at Miller Park I believe is a small Miller product tap at $6. A larger tap is about $7.75. Miller Lite/Coors Light in a 16 oz can is $7.50 IIRC. A tap from the Leinie Lodge is going to be in the $9 range.
  5. I-90 is a toll road. If you're driving from SE WI to Indiana and want to avoid tolls I guess US 41 would be your best bet but then you're driving right through the city on Lakeshore Dr and between 7am & 9pm forget it.
  6. I'm currently showing a pending charge on my bank account for automatic replenishment.
  7. "Robin Yount's memorabilia fetches $199,804 at auction"- http://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2016/08/21/robin-younts-memorabilia-fetches-199804-auction/88973882/
  8. No no, it's all good. Lest devoted Yount followers worry that he has fallen on hard times and needs the money, Kohler quickly noted the two-time MVP merely is downsizing via a method nearly everyone can relate to — moving into a new house. Anyone who has done that even one time can attest the fewer boxes to unpack, the better. I could see how one Rubbermaid tote taking up four square feet of space would be a massive inconvenience.
  9. thinkprogress, come on man. Isn't there a political forum for such hyperpartisan links. i've got some great articles from TheBlaze that I'd love to share in the Major League forum myself.
  10. I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other but this is interesting http://www.si.com/mlb/2016/07/03/zack-hample-foul-ball-guy-illegal-ticket-fort-bragg
  11. Listening to the radio call and it sounded like it was going to be a 500 ft bomb the way Uecker initially called it.
  12. Shut up about Alcatraz already Brian. Dumbest conversation I've ever heard. I had to mute my TV.
  13. interesting. Martin Maldonado only got 5 games for bashing Travis Snider's face in a couple years ago and I thought that was worse.
  14. I have extras starting with 2001 until this season. PM me if you need those and I'll send or I can meet up.
  15. Ho hum, another no no. Has a Brewers pitcher even taken one past the 6th inning since Nieves got his? I'm about ready for one to happen.
  16. I agree. The Sausage Haus/Miller parking lot is the way to go. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/downloads/parking_map.pdf
  17. The actual tour part is nothing spectacular but yeah, far & away the best bang for your buck as far as samples go.
  18. Besides Master Z's they bought a company called BB's Bobbles. It's explained here - http://www.biztimes.com/2015/10/05/legends-of-the-field-buys-bbs-bobbles/
  19. There are two levels at the Bradley Center. The "lower bowl" and the "upper bowl." The 100 sections within the lower bowl consist of folding chairs at side court or folding chairs on risers behind the basket. The 200 sections are in the rest of the lower bowl and consist of permanent seats. The 400 sections are in the upper bowl. You're generally going to be just as uncomfortable and cramped in the 200s and the 400s. If you want comfort you're going to have to sit in a suite. As far as the sight lines go I'd rather be in the 400s between the baskets than in the 200s behind the basket. And besides the Bucks website/Ticketmaster there are better places to look but perhaps not for when they're playing a high profile team like the Bulls.
  20. Ahh..you may be correct. I knew that it was in LF and involved Oglivie in some manner. I want to say that the guy was wearing a white sweater (I'm going to have to dig up the paper when I get home). Game 4. They called him the "Phantom Fan." He needed a police escort out of the bleachers.
  21. "Occasionally" and "quite a bit" are kind of vague as far as quantifying purposes go. I used mine what I'd consider to be less than "quite a bit" last month and still used 6GB.
  22. Listening to Atlanta radio call on XM and they're moaning about everything. On and on about the home plate umpire's tight zone that's forcing the pitcher to throw right down the middle, Maldonado possibly putting a dirty ball back in play when he was out at the mound, Braun doing everything between pitches that isn't allowed anymore and the umpire doing nothing about it. There's probably more but I'm only half listening.
