  1. $9 I believe. You get something on the side too, I got mac & cheese last time. Not sure if it's always the same side or if it changes.
  2. Oh yeah, as do I. Especially a giant bag of peanuts. I have a Friday 10 pack and we rarely tailgate before those games so that's when I like to try the different fare inside the park. If I go on Saturday or Sunday and we're tailgating I'll stuff myself in the parking lot and then maybe just get a beer or two inside.
  3. Just to clarify, the reason the brats are subpar is because of the way they're prepared. Klement's makes a fine bratwurst. As far as the chorizo goes, I remember getting it in the past with the tortilla at a stand around 438 or so on the terrace level near the top of the escalator.
  4. Some chatter about this on the in game thread. Figured I'd start a thread about food at the ballpark. I'll probably be wandering around and sampling a lot more during the rest of the season if the action on the field continues to be so poor. The brats are hit or miss but mostly miss. Pre-cooked and pretty forgettable. When they're bad they're bad. Avoid all sausages really unless you need to check "eat a brat with Secret Stadium Sauce" off your bucket list. Grab a brat off of any random grill in the parking lot before the game and it'll be better than any sausage you'll get inside. My favorite foods include- Poutine, eat fast though, tastes worse as the gravy gets cold (outside sections 106 & 129) Baked potato, a few different topping options, filling, good bang for your buck (125, 214, 337, 431) Carved brisket, another relatively good deal, really nice pile of meat and very tasty (125, 222) Pulled pork parfait (127, 214, 417) Nachos grande, bigger serving than any of the nachos on the other levels (324) Cheese curds are pretty good Make your own sundae on the club level near the bar, if they still have it, been a couple years I'm not big on eating dessert at the game so I don't have opinion on the rest of the sweets that are offered Skip the loge level mac and cheese The specialty items i've tried at the Chef's Table food truck thing have been good. Anyone try the spaghetti stuffed meatball? That's next on my list That's about all I can think of now
  5. No no, Weeks is coming around. He has as many hits in the last 11 games combined as Segura does in this game alone.
  6. "I've been thinking about this Mr. Hand...If I'm here AND you're here doesn't that make it OUR time?"
  7. #MILWeCanLaughAtOurselvesAndOurStupidPollOccasionallyTooByHavingAHumorousPollAboutTheFiveSecondRuleAsItPertainsToFoodOnTheGround
  8. I should've listened to you people when you kept saying that the AT&T Twitter poll is "corny."
  9. Thanks, I think I borrowed that one from another message board a few years ago. I'm finding this team to be completely unwatchable even when they aren't. It's depressing.
  10. Our starting pitcher lasted five innings! The Brewers scored three runs in one inning! The bullpen hasn't even had to come in yet and the game is still tied! Let the good times roll! It's like we've already won Brian!!!!
  11. That's pretty awesome that Donovan's family made it up here to see the game.
  12. She was trying to unload her ticket for last Tuesdays game when Greinke pitched for $350... Yeah, I saw that on her FB page. I'm not as passionate as some are about her one way or the other but it's gotta be somewhat maddening for someone to shell out all that money for a full season ticket for such a putrid product, I don't care how big of a fan someone says they are.
  13. Glad I decided not to go and slept in today. 2nd verse same as the first. Front Row Amy is either as big of a fan as ever or she's having problems unloading her ticket lately.
  14. I was at the game that they wore those. They were available in the team store, that day at least. My buddy really wanted one, so we went in during the game and he looked at the price and then not so much.
  15. I'd forgotten all about that Eddie Becker, the "Phantom Fan"- http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=q3pQAAAAIBAJ&sjid=JRIEAAAAIBAJ&pg=6886%2C2383576
  16. So the other team also had a "starting pitcher", but then 8 innings went by and the "starting pitcher" is still "pitching" in the game. What is this, it's all very confusing to me.
  17. I already had to turn the sound down. I'll be watching this on mute from here on out.
  18. I was 11 years old and was at game 5 of the ALCS in the left field upper deck with my cousin. I remember she went down to the stadium really early in the morning i think the day before the game and stood in line to buy tickets. She bought three and ended up selling the extra to a guy for face before the game, which was either $12 or $15, I can't remember. My mom later gave my ticket stub to some guy to get laminated and I never saw it again. Anyway, my cousin called me on the phone and said "where is the place that you'd most like to be tomorrow" and of course I said "at the Brewers game." I remember parts of the game, mostly Marshall Edwards making a great catch and crashing into the wall in the 8th & then Cecil Cooper leaping into the air after Carew grounded out in the 9th. I jumped up and down for joy and for the first time ever gave a high five to someone I didn't know. Some drunk guy screamed "HEY REGGIE (BLEEP) YOU!!!" and I thought the was the funniest thing I ever heard. It was bedlam outside and we drove back to Pewaukee, everyone honking and going nuts. Still far and away my favorite in person sports memory of all time. Perhaps we'll see another WS here in my lifetime although I'm not counting on it.
  19. I wonder if they're looking forward to coming home knowing the boo birds will be out in full force this week.
  20. "Anytime I see a guy with a neck tattoo I just wanna walk up to him and go 'hey maaann...you forgot to not do that. yeahhhhh you were gonna do that then you realized 'hey that's kind of a stupid idea.' but uh oh! then you forgot! And now you have a neck tattoo!! you're trying to get a job teaching kindegarten and noone will hire you...because you have a neck tattoo, you big scary piece of...." Todd Barry
  21. Thanks for that. I think I'm going to pay for a year's subscription to that site. I have some other blank 8x10s and random stuff I'm going to send out all at once. I'll probably still send it as I wouldn't be too disappointed not to get it back.
  22. I have a What's Brewing magazine from '87 with Juan Nieves on the cover. I'm going to send it to the Red Sox. Anyone know what my chances are on getting it back?
  23. He graduated from high school in 1994 and was still at Whitewater as recently as 2010.
  24. Schroeder acting like Culbreth is giving us the game at first. McCutchen looked out to me in the 1st, although it was very close. I rewound the play in the 4th a few times and yeah Lalli was way off the bag but it looked like he grazed McCutchen's helmet. And the Aoki hit in the 5th was a fair ball. That's hardly "every break in the book" Bill. Just irritating.
