  1. Also, at first notice you might have to use the rest room, grab a beer and walk over to the port-a-lets, the lines can get pretty long. You don't wanna be dancing in line. Yeah, pretty long as in 45 minutes to an hour. Better yet, if you are imbibing, throw someone a few bucks to use the porta potty/bucket/makeshift toilet that they brought in for their party. Parking lot facilities are woefully inadequate.
  2. Did anyone read the piece about Jeffrey Loria in the latest issue of Sports Illustrated? It was pretty interesting. Yeah, maybe he fleeced the city and all that but what depressed me while reading it is that I was reminded once again that the FLORIDA FLIPPIN' MARLINS have two World Series titles. Two more than the Brewers have and may ever have in my lifetime.
  3. He did two solid hours without a break on Opie and Anthony. It was a great interview
  4. Rock USA has a fantastic deal on tickets if you buy them before this Wednesday. It sounds like this could be Van Halen's only US date all year. I'd never attend a festival show but yeah, that's a couple pretty decent lineups.
  5. Listened to the classic "Manager's Corner" audio about ten times in the last couple days. Still probably the funniest baseball related thing I've ever heard.
  6. Fire Boylan
  7. Jay Mohr is hilarious. I haven't heard him on regular radio but he's much better suited for the uncensoredness of his podcast & guest appearances on the Opie & Anthony show on Sirius/XM.
  8. "Trading Post: trade or sell tickets, promotions, memorabilia, or non-baseball stuff." viewtopic.php?&t=4208
  9. This article from earlier this year puts the Brewers at $12 million from FSN http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2012/01/the_big_picture_is_tv_rights_m.html
  10. Would you consider trade or cash plus trade?
  11. The lodging in the Milwaukee area would be woefully inadequate for such a thing also. I'd think with such a high percentage of Wrestlemania attendees coming from outside the area there would have to be more hotel rooms available than we have here. Like Atlanta metro probably has 6 times as many rooms as Milwaukee does.
  12. Haven't looked close but my buddy said he was sure George Scott was one of those.
  13. It's all free. I just moved into a pretty small apartment and I'm getting rid of some odds and ends. I'll PM you.
  14. Does anyone want some posters? Tim Thomas Bucks Bucks '01-'02 Big Three plus team Bucks '05-'06 Buzzer Beaters '05 Bengals '96 Packers Brewers 47 Greatest Moments at County Stadium various auto racing some other TBD random crap I can meet you in the Milwaukee area Let me know
  15. Cool, I'm ordering a copy.
  16. Yes on the Phillies. Not sure about the Braves.
  17. yep brian said "john axford had a new look today, speaking of haircuts and marty brenneman...axford...the short hair, maybe chopping off some of those locks, some of the bad mojo that's been going on..."
  18. No problem. Have fun. I have to go out to lunch with some friends. Otherwise I'd be there too.
  19. Should be smooth sailing. The only thing I can think of is after the game I think the ramp off Miller Park Way/41 north getting onto 94 west is closed. But coming from the north 41/45/94E you're good to go.
  20. Sirius doesn't offer anything that includes the XM baseball games on a Sirius radio. You can get MLB Radio but that's it. If you have a Sirius radio and pay for the package that offers the most possible channels you'll get all the Sirius channels plus some of the stuff from XM like Opie & Anthony and Oprah and some other sports channels, but not the baseball game channels.
  21. I'm almost positive that no you can't. You can only get the games on an XM radio or online or on a smartphone. I have both services. Or did until a few days ago when I traded in my Ford Focus. At the moment I just have a portable XM player which I listen to at work. I'd go the portable XM route myself. But yeah if you don't want to do that or get XM to replace Sirius in your Ford you'll probably have to get a different car.
  22. Late 1990 I think. I was there also. Excellent show.
