  1. Tell me that's not the most delicious gum you've ever tasted.
  2. If you're collecting these and need extras post your request here. Or post here if you have extras to offer. I've got extras of most of the series so far.
  3. I just watched a documentary called The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. It was pretty amazing, a unique tale of good and evil. Check it out.
  4. How hammered do you have to be to forget how to spell. Or is it blind drunkeness causing one to not see the keyboard. I've drunk posted before and it just took me a little bit longer than usual. All spelling and grammar didn't go flying out the window.
  5. I'm (chuck) in
  6. I think it's interesting that one of the most sampled songs in the hip hop world is from Billy Squier- ? ?
  7. www.jsonline.com Brewers fans heading to Boston grounded Some Milwaukee Brewers fans are looking for other ways to get to Boston today after being bumped from overbooked Midwest Airlines flights. Midwest Airlines has bumped an unusually high number of passengers from two Friday morning flights from Milwaukee to Boston, airline spokesman Michael Brophy confirmed. That happened because the airline's booking formula failed to account for unusually high traffic on today's flights generated by a rare Brewers series with the Boston Red Sox this weekend at Fenway Park, he said. Midwest is working to get those passengers rebooked on other flights, Brophy said. One passenger said a total of 18 passengers were bumped from two morning flights on 88-passenger Boeing 717 jets.
  8. I played Blackjack at the Pot a couple weeks ago and realized after about five minutes why I never go down there. Two of the three dealers we had were terrible. One was dealing in slow motion and the other misdealt several times- one time when I motioned to stand but she hit me with a 7 anyway and the guy next to me had a 14 that he was going to hit on. The pit boss said the 7 had to be burned and to give him the next card. Which naturally busted him. And this was at the beginning of the shoe too which made everybody none too pleased when it was all downhill from there. There was a super nice looking Korean girl at the table but she was with some old derelict who was taking up a chair but not playing. The dealer was asking her what she was doing in Milwaukee. Something very vague about being from Seattle and "I have businesses here" but that was about all he could get out of her.
  9. vodka straight up?
  10. I've got some stuff to trade if you haven't made a deal already.
  11. Anyone read Dave Begel's column at onmilwaukee.com? Brewers' manager Yost is the man in the middle "No matter what they say, I'm going to keep on beating my head against this wall until it crumbles or the idiots who keep building it shut up. Let me make it as clear as I can. NED YOST IS NOT THE REASON THE BREWERS AREN'T WINNING! Everybody needs to understand that the chattering class (scruffy sports columnists, stupid talk radio hosts, semi-stupid talk radio hosts, guys who've never played a down or an inning or a quarter in their lives, people who think a $20 ticket and a seat on the couch makes them some kind of expert) has a vested interest in calling for Ned Yosts' scalp."
  12. I work for the same corporate behemoth as one of the mods. I think. I'll have to check to be sure.
  13. Same here. I'll think that I'm awake and that there's a massive ruckus and commotion going on around me but I'm unable to move. Then I'll wake up for real and everything is completely silent.
  14. Me too. I'm 37 and the dreams usually include random people I went to high school with who I haven't seen since I left. Not even friends of mine, just people that were there. Strange.
  15. I'll be out of town and won't be able to make this one.
  16. I have the school dream pretty often also. Either high school or college. It's always stuff like not being able to recall a locker combination, missing a large portion of the year and coming back just in time for a test, not being able to recall my class schedule, wandering around the halls because I forgot which room a class is in. Plus in the college ones sometimes I'll be moving to a different off campus house in the middle of the school year and I won't be sure which house I'm supposed to be moving into.
  17. Anyone else have the same type of dream on a regular basis? I've got a few that show up pretty often. The one I probably have the most is where I'm at a sporting event, usually a baseball game (but last night it was a basketball game) and the section of seats I'm sitting in has either no view at all of the field of play or else is at least 90% obstructed. Sometimes it will be a Brewers game and I'll be sitting in bleachers that are out in the concourse or pointed away from the field. The one last night was a Bucks game and I was standing along a railing in an upper level and all I could see was a sliver of the court behind one of the baskets. The venue always changes from dream to dream. Like the Brewers might be playing but it's usually not Miller Park but some generic stadium that I'm not familiar with in my waking life.
  18. I won it on his show.
  19. Something came up for me. I'm not going to be able to make it tonight.
  20. The sky fell a long time ago. It's tough to emotionally invest yourself in a team that never makes the playoffs. They could barely muster .500 last year healthy. I don't foresee a better record this year.
  21. Anybody that hasn't heard it you need to listen to it. It's available on YouTube in all its uncensored glory.
  22. Thanks, I was hoping for something like this. The one a couple years ago that ended up selling for $167.50 shot up after a Spivak & Bice mention in the JS. I'm pretty sure this will see a lot of bidding action once it gets down to the wire.
  23. ESPN article I'm not sure which one's funnier, the Elia tirade or the Lasorda picking up Bevacqua in a limousine rant. They both still make me laugh.
