I would like to thank Pedro for all the charity he gives to Brewerfan.net. Maybe of us have benefitted from his generousity. It is people like him that truly make me believe that there are many good people out there and it seems alot of them come to this great website! Ok enough with the sappyness.

Always hard to tell this far in advance when the wife and I are going to be in Wisconsin from Michigan. She wants to go to opening day but not at the outrageous prices one finds on the internet. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Well First off Pedro is the man. I would also be interested in the Driver photo, Roberts ball, the Weeks ball and the sheets bobble. The football and baseball cards interest me too, but I live in Michigan so picking them up soon wouldn't be an option. I'll throw my name in too. Might be good to come home after my back surgery and find that I won tickets.

I'd be interested too. While weekends would work best since the wife and I live in Michigan, could always make a weekday work. Just want to get my name in.

Should I take my wife to Opening Day as her first Miller game ever? We live in Michigan, so I'm not too sure about paying a ton for tickets for that experience.

Well if anyone else can't go, I'm willing. Stupid dialup.....can't post fast enough congrats blancofan1!!

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3244658 Even Dempster is spouting out his mouth. Anyone else like that the Cubs keeping setting themselves up to put their feet in their mouth? Guess that Kool-Aid down south is good! This is their year to end the drought!

It's funny really. I wonder what we would all be saying about Knight if he had been the coach at Wisconsin. Actually almost happened before he took the job at Indiana. Had a deal all set to come to Madison and coach but under the condition that it be kept quiet until an official announcement could be made. Unfortunately, the media decided to run with the story causing Coach Knight to change his mind and tell Wisconsin officials he wasn't coming there. Ultimately he went to Indiana, won 3 National Titles and is the winningest coach in college basketball. Kinda makes me wonder what would have happen had he been the Badgers' coach. Heard that story my whole life and always wondered about that scenario.

Just saw a report on ESPN with Buster Olney talking about the Johan Santana trade talks and how Minnesota will probably end up getting a lesser deal than what they could have gotten a month ago. This question has been going through my head for a while. Why couldn't the Brewers offer a package of players to the Twins and get Santana for themselves? I mean Johan just wants to get paid I'm guessing. Not sure that the place is really an issue for him. I mean I understand financially the Crew probably can't afford him but I mean we're paying guys like Mota and Counsell over 3M each, why can't we bite the bullet and go after an impact player? Just once I would love to see our team go after someone that would garner national headlines. Does everyone think an offer for him would cripple out team or is it really just a money issue? Lots of questions, just thought I'd throw this discussion out cause I'm curious what others in the Brewerfan nation think. Thanks for reading this rant.

Sent you an e-mail regarding picking up the Prince bobble.

Sent you an e-mail.

Sent you a PM about Wednesday's game.

Interested, although still waiting to hear if I am going to need more than 2. So keep me posted.

I am coming to Milwaukee after being out of town for like a year and a half. My wife will be coming to her first Brewers game ever. Looked on the Brewers website and all I could find were expensive and nosebleeds seats. Throwing this out to anyone that might have tickets for Wednesday. Looking for 3 or 4 moderately priced tickets. Thanks in advance!

Interested in Prince. We can talk more in PMs

My favorite hopeful for the draft is my brother....big left hander out of UW-Stout. I hope someone will give a look to a 6'6 lefty that throws upper 80's with some filthy stuff. Too bad his coach in college didn't know what he was doing.
