  1. Doesn’t help that Albers, Claudio, and Jeffress have all been used. Make sure you win this game. I would think Hader still available for the finale if needed.
  2. Except they wouldn’t be getting rid of Arcia. They would be using Dubon as the de facto utility guy, and he’s probably a vast improvement over Perez/Saladino. Dubon is supposed to be a very polished defender. Not sure where your getting that from.
  3. I like Schroeder way more than Plesac. I actually had the urge to mute the TV when Plesac was on.
  4. He strikes out a lot, but has also made a ton of hard contact. He’s not exactly high on the list of offensive issues.
  5. Maybe it’s enough to convince Cincy to make a Pirate’esqe deal at the deadline. Brewers constantly working to empty the farm system of division opponents.
  6. Seriously, how many games this year has the opponent scored in the first two innings? Has to be over half.
  7. Yep, might be the poster child of a AAAA player. Constantly has success at AAA but stuff just doesn’t translate to MLB.
  8. Jared Lorenzen died at 38. Best BIG QB in college for Kentucky. Died of heart issues.
  9. Gamel is okay as a backup once in awhile, but Pina is such a weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, weak, link ... it' hard to watch. Meanwhile down on farm we have a .360+ C with good D. That’s already rostered. Same guy has hit .214 in MLB. Pina defense is elite. For the 1 day per week he plays I’ll take the proven defensive catcher instead of a half year of AAA stats.
  10. Without looking up ages, I’m guessing they left the Brewers before the prime of their careers. Low payroll in those days meant the Brewers moved on before arbitration years or extensions.
