  1. Heck of a job by Hudson. Guy in the production truck did a quick cut a way from the double bird Swanson was getting, but not quick enough to keep it from airing, lol.
  2. Pleasant surprise to turn on the game and hear BA and Rock.
  3. Becoming more common in all sports, and most streaming broadcasts have been very good. The Brewers broadcast tonight has been excellent, although the announcers are so so. If you’re against it, you’re probably actually in the minority. The ratings for these games in other sports have been very high, and would expect MLB games to probably follow suit.
  4. No possible explanation for bunting guys over with Adames and Sanchez coming up. That was brutally dumb.
  5. Not game related but probably doesn’t need its own thread… Just read Monte Harrison is going to play WR at Arkansas at the age of 28. Interesting switch. Missed most of Gasser’s start, glad he’s pitching well and still in for me to see.
  6. One knee catching is gaining popularity, but good old fashioned stopping the baseball wouldn't hurt from time to time.
  7. Feel like this game could get interesting in more ways than one right now....
  8. Willy off balance out on his front foot, and hits a pitch that was probably off the plate down and away out to dead center. Just watching the swing and the pitch location, I thought that was a shallow fly ball to center off the bat. I can see why the pitcher looked shocked that it was out.
  9. That closeup of Megil looked real sketchy as he oddly rubbed the baseball into the back of his glove…
  10. Only 2 days rest since the game he started.
  11. If I had to pick between Burnes WAR this year, or Ortiz and Hall WAR over their time with the Brewers.... I'm taking Hall/Ortiz
  12. That Sophia segment just proved it as well, all of the quotes from her there point to him pitching in the minors. "Very hard transition" "Acquired late in the offseason"....
  13. I'm not ready to give up on Hall, but he needs to be trying to figure things out down in AAA not in the majors. Let him try to have some success down there and bring him back up later in the year.
  14. Yep, just talked to an old college friend who’s son entered the portal yesterday. He had to wait for his last installment of NIL money from this past year. If they enter the portal before the 15th they don’t get their last check.
  15. I watched very little college sports last year, and will probably watch even less this year. Hard to keep rooting for a new team every year, only to watch those kids leave the next year. I totally get it from the kids perspective, I would chase the money too, but sure makes it hard to be a fan.
  16. No issues with the AB from Ortiz. Took him to a full count and just missed one and popped up. The result sucked but not a bad AB.
  17. Nice quick inning by Rea. Put Burnes back out on the mound quickly after he had a long inning.
  18. Hope I’m wrong but this has the feeling of a blowout. Burnes will settle in and Rea looks like he’s going to struggle with this Baltimore lineup.
  19. Just need 7 to keep the streak alive. I’d still probably take the under unless we get to their bullpen later on.
  20. He’s not a FA until 2028 when he’s 30. No need to throw money at him now. A lot can happen to a catcher in 4 years and they’re usually pretty beat up by 30 years old.
  21. Get someone up in the pen while this one’s still in reach
  22. Defense has been a huge part of the early success. When Santander couldn’t come up with that play last inning I literally thought that every one of the Brewers OF’s would’ve made that play. Hall giving up dingers doesn’t play into the defensive philosophy very well….
  23. The groundout to Adames to tie the game was hit really hard and right at him, kind of surprised he didn’t take a shot at the runner at home.
