To avoid who? Zack Duke? Moyà and his 8.00 ERA? It's not like they have a Hader type reliever to use late. Our lefties have been hitting lefties well actually besides. It's also not like we have 4 in a row. There are 2 in a row. I care more about having our best hitters at the top than alternating R/L. If it's a playoff game against a team with a dominant L in the pen then maybe worry about it. Doesn't seem like it's overly important against the Twins right now.

Yet he's much better than Jett Bandy and Andrew Susac. Not many teams have good catchers let alone back ups. If only we had a seemingly competent young catcher in AAA who could take over as starter and push Pina into that role of 'good backup catcher.' Except he strikes out 1/3 of his AB. You can’t go by AVG in COS... Bandy has the exact same average at COS currently

If it is why not attempt to bunt a second time? Telecast said shift didn’t move after the first attempt, why not take a single if they’re giving it? Bunt every at bat till they move the shift.

In a 1-0 game you let Suter throw till ONE runner reaches in the 7th. That doesn’t seem like a hard concept but CC doesn’t get it. They either don’t come out for the 7th or they get left in to give up 4 runs. No way you let your starter take a loss after that start.
