  1. I rewound and watched like 5 times, tag goes from catch to runner, no wasted movement. Don’t see anything at all wrong there.
  2. Your glove naturally comes up fielding the hop, I don’t see how he could’ve got it down faster.
  3. In the replay era you would think swipe tags would be gone. Keep the glove on the runner as long as possible in case they come off.
  4. Yea, I’m not a fan of Thames in the OF. Defense has been a huge part of the success this year. Also not like Thames is tearing the cover off the ball. If Santana can find his power with regular AB in the minors he’s the best chance to give a little of both.
  5. Great post if they actually did it on purpose which seems highly unlikely.
  6. You honestly think they hit Cain on purpose in the first inning with a runner already on and only 1 out? When they’ve already lost the first two games of the series? On top of that Cain has never done anything to cause a beef with the Cards. Nothing suggests this was intentional. BF posters have been more Cardinal than the Cardinals lately about unwritten rules. He pitched inside and missed end of story. Retaliation causes Chase to get tossed, bullpen drained eating 8 innings, chance of players hurt or suspended if a fight breaks out. It’s a no win for the Brewers.
  7. Who said Braun isn’t healthy? It’s entirely possible he’s cleared and CC just didn’t feel he was the best option yesterday or today. If he sits vs a lefty then I will question it.
  8. Sogard said post game that he asked him if he was alright. Also said he didn't think he understood him, not sure if he meant didn't hear, or language barrier.
  9. Almost no hitter, almost bench clearing brawl, bomb to tie it, walk off bomb to win it. Yawwwwwn Anyone who wasn't entertained by that, go watch rollerball or sonething. THIS x 100 Best, possibly most entertaining game of the year and were having this discussion??? I really don't get it.
  10. So a guy comes into a 3-3 game, doesn't have it, gives up 4 straight hits, and you have to leave him get shelled till he gets 3 outs???? That's not baseball and I'd have zero interest in watching it.
  11. I'm a little worried myself. Baseball needs to evolve. Really really focus on shortening games. Attendance is down 5-6%, I read this is first year there will be more strikeouts than hits. Not good. Ball in play is good for attention spans of people these days. I will watch Hader strikeout the side over watching 3 balls in play any day. I didn't find anything boring about tonight's game.
  12. We had relievers still arriving when the players were already headed back to the dugouts. Need to work on the cardio. Imagine if Albers wasn’t hurt. He’d need to bullpen cart to get him there. My god, I never thought of this. A reliever somewhere needs to arrive to a fight in the bullpen cart. How epic would that be...

  14. Hicks at 22 pitches should be done for the night, hopefully we have more 0's left in the pen than them.
