  1. Before this 10 game trip started if someone said they’d win 4 games I would’ve been ok with it. Not thrilled obviously but not terrible. Tough teams on a long trip. Now we’re there halfway through the trip.
  2. They may have similar times... And that’s not a rip on Saladino. The big boy could rumble once he got going
  3. Peralta snickering in the dug out as Haders K/9 rate drops
  4. I know we need the arms right now, but Phillips in RF late in games would look much better.
  5. One heck of a pinch hitter to have up, now our pen can show em how it’s done.
  6. Why is he running on that? Especially with Villar on the move, no chance for two
  7. Nice start to the inning, need to get one in at least. Would be nice to get Guerra a win for navigating through 6 without having anything off speed working most of the night.
  8. Guerra needs to find something off speed to get through the order more than once.
  9. Very quick first inning. Both teams cooperating with the new pace of play initiative.
  10. He will square one up occasionally, but it’s definitely his weaker side. I don’t mind Pérez starting against a lefty tonight. He’s been swinging it ok as of late.
  11. Totally agree these late starts are brutal. I had to mow my lawn and do a load of laundry already. Christ, next I’ll be vacuuming if this thing doesn’t get rolling.
  12. With the deceptive delivery could really see him being successful until teams/players have seen him a few times. Curious to see if he can pitch effectively the second or third time he faces a team. Hopefully he pitches well enough that we get a chance to find out.
  13. Got the young man some runs with the bottom of the order. Now as long as he doesn't have too many splinters in his hand, he hopefully can pitch with a little less stress.
  14. Really need a starter to grab a spot and run with it. Was hoping Woodruff would, but that hasn't happened. Excited to see Peralta today, maybe he will be the guy to step up, although Colorado not the easiest place to make your pitching debut.
  15. Agreed, this is pretty shocking. Barnes been bad for about a week. He had a stretch like this last year too. Seems like a guy who gets dead arm, just needs some rest, then is fine again. He will be back up this month yet. Most likely to get his arm some rest and get a fresh arm up. Not a shocking move at all, I would say more maintenance than demotion. He will be back shortly.
