  1. Off days in a playoff series suck, it negates one of the things the Brewers do well. Taking pitches and getting to the pen early is a strength in the regular season much more than in a playoff series.
  2. My feed isn’t laggy but it’s significantly behind the box score on the MLB app. I found out we scored before it happened on the TV.
  3. Would be pretty fitting to put up a “Brewers” inning with 4+
  4. When I got charged the first time I cancelled my subscription. Just felt it was safer that way, I can always renew the day of the opener if I choose to.
  5. Yea, I had a reversal of the charge this morning now too. Glad it was only an error if that is what it was. Charging for next summer's package 6 months in advance seemed sketchy at best.
  6. I just saw my credit card was charged for next years renewal. I had just checked the renewal last week and read that it would renew at the start of the next spring season. I fully planned on renewing next year, but getting charged for next year before this year is even over seems pretty shady.
  7. The killer was the bubble screen, which is just a terrible call. Once you get to the 10 the DB’s are up too close. That had no chance. Result says tie, sure feels like a loss.
  8. Not to make excuses for them, but there has to be some mental let down as you have less and less to play these games for. It’s a grueling season, you’re nearing the end, and motivating factors are low. These games can’t be easy to get up for and focus through. They’re professionals, but also humans. Hopefully they can flip that switch once playoff baseball gets here and the adrenaline starts flowing again.
  9. I think the success or failure of this system will be the time that challenges take. Hopefully this is a pretty much instant feedback type thing. If it takes even 10 seconds to get a call it’s going to be annoying. Hopefully they have the system worked out to be as quick as possible.
  10. With the Phillies loss the Brewers essentially got to punt on this one, rest all of our arms for a night, and not lose any ground. I don’t follow the minors closely at all, but I have no clue who Zimmerman is. At least ate up some innings.
  11. I get the frustration with him, but the Brewers are probably 30 games over .500 with him in the lineup. At this point ride with the guys that got you here.
  12. I don’t get bunting first pitch there, make him at least throw a strike.
  13. Yea, my bad on Northwestern. I thought they were better than that in 23. Still a quick spin to go from 1-11 to 8-5. If the Badgers found a way to get to 8 wins next year the presumptive new coach would probably get a statue. Northwestern does have an even bigger academic draw than WI does though.
  14. Syracuse, Northwestern, TCU all have had 10 win seasons with a first year coach following a losing season. There’s not a lot of sustained success there I’ll admit that, but quick turnarounds can happen with the portal. It does not need to be a 3-4 year rebuild process like it needed to be before the portal.
  15. Good news is rebuilding can be a quick process if you get the right coach and boosters in place. Bad news is I have no idea who would qualify as that level of coach and would be willing to come to WI and inherit this mess.
  16. He's clearly available tonight as he's in the game. Made sense for him to face the heart of the order here in the 8th. Not sure how we wasted anything last night as long as he was still available tonight.
  17. Perkins takes a run away on defense and Ward giving away runs in left the next half inning.... Love the defense.
  18. I watched the entire A&M and ND game, great game, then flipped on the Brewers in the top of the 10th, great ending. Think I got the best of both worlds of viewing tonight!
  19. Texas A&M and Notre Dame was a heck of a football game! One of the more entertaining games that I’ve seen in years.
  20. Wondered if I was the only one to have that issue. My picture and sound get out of sync 4-5 times per game and I have to back out and reload. Tonight’s the first time I’ve seen buffering posts so I always thought it was just me.
  21. Really doubt it. As much as some here want him to be sent to the pen, the Brewers have made no indications that they view him as anything but a starter long term. With off days coming up, there’s a path to getting him 6+ days of rest before his next start.
