Watched the beginning of the game at a restaurant, couldn't hear any sound. Can someone fill me in on who the girl was who threw the first pitch? Seen Gomez wave at her when he hit his HR, and they interviewed her during the game. I am assuming there is some back story?

That isn't on Rickie. Luc should have covered 1b. Obviously he is learning, but that is on him. Throw was late even if Garza caught it, the first base ump gave the safe call before he seen the drop. Weeks bobble was an error IMO.

No he isn't.....he did what the manager told him to do..... at least be mad at the right guy Totally on the runner... You freeze on a line drive, even if you are going on contact. Zero of that blame go to the manager.

Realitively soft liner too. Had plenty of time to read it and get back. Flat out didn't know how many outs there were.

Falu strikes out at a crazy low rate, so pinch hit Weeks with the bases loaded. A ball in play most likely scores a run, why not use the best contact hitter on your bench? I know he was just called up, but he has big league time.

Irving Falu has been called up to replace Jimmy Nelson. Article on the Brewers website. They say a "flurry" of moves followed the game. Apparently 1 guy up and 1 guy down is a flurry.

It was tough part of the order, but I can't justify using Smith in this game. Why not Duke and hope he can go both innings. Worst case you go Duke to KRod if Duke gives up a run. Best case he throws both innings, either way you don't tack on an inning to Smiths work load. I don't mind RR as much as some (except last nights debacle), but my one gripe is the amount of pitchers he burns through in situations where he doesn't need to. (Can interchange Duke/Wooten in this post. I think either one could have pitched both innings without giving up 4 runs)

Of everything he said, sending a player to the bullpen??? Really? They have phones, but your going to send a player around the stadium to talk to bullpen?

RR took blame for miss communication... Said he sent Maldy to the bullpen to tell 2 relievers to throw? .... Said infield in is an automatic in that situation. Can't let them tie on the road.... Said loss will be hard on him not players.

If the pitcher has to touch the rubber to be official, why not keep Kintzler in the game? Smith pitching without stretching or throwing is stupid if not necessary.
