  1. Why run a jet sweep into the short side of the field? Then bubble screen to the short side of the field? Playing in a small box.
  2. That’s a drop, good lord what are they looking at?
  3. Can’t give up a first down here. Make them punt from the end zone
  4. Offense seems very vanilla. Lacking the usual motion, misdirection, jet sweeps.
  5. This game seems incredibly sloppy by both teams so far. Turnovers, penalties, drops, and the two scores came from big plays. I think the OSU run game will eventually be the difference. Just one extra dimension that Indiana doesn't have.
  6. This should be one of the more entertaining matchups of the NFL season, but I just can’t get excited for a Thursday night game.
  7. ESPN had Merril at 60 to Bucks but not 42.
  8. NBA is so confusing. When trades go down in the NFL 99 percent of the time the change is made before the pick is made. You always know who’s on the clock.
  9. #45 is their only pick tonight correct?
  10. Do the Bucks have a first round pick tomorrow, or was that one of the picks that was traded?
  11. Who completes a trade at 11 PM? First thought is this helps but not enough.
  12. Wait, he bets $99K to win $9K? Wouldn't that be a $90K loss? To “profit” 9k. So he’d have a 108k payout. These are getting more and more common. Sports books use rewards points. Guys are doing stuff like this to pile up rewards points. Most are a point per dollar wagered. Then you can use your points for free bets. A guy put like 250,000 on Clemson straight up a few weeks back to gain 5k. Pretty risky in a COVID year. The Clemson guy did it on a Monday too, which says it’s a rich guy who knows nothing about gambling. Guys who sports bet often almost always place bets relatively close to kickoff.
  13. Straight up to pay -1100. Anything with the spread is close to even money.
  14. I LOLed at this tweet. Leonard will be a head coach very soon, and it will be a sad day when he leaves Madison.
  15. Kicking team picks direction in each half. It’s not locked in to a set quarter from the start. For example, I didn’t see the toss but guessing Jags deferred. When they come out of halftime they ask Jacksonville do you want kick or receive. They’ll say receive. Then they’ll ask GB captain, which way do you want to kick. So essentially Jags got to pick if they wanted wind in first or second. Green Bay will get to choose to have wind in third or fourth.
  16. Jake Luton is playing QB in 30 mph winds, and we have a safety playing MLB on 1st and 10???
  17. Nice drive there. Berger looks good, hasn’t been able to break anything big, but fluid and seems quick. Nice to see a freshman catch the ball out of the backfield. Him and Dike look like solid weapons moving forward.
  18. They seem to have a bunch high rated recruits that don’t mesh into something fluid. That’s been a key to WI recruiting in FB and BB. They get specific guys, with specific skill sets, and they fit their system.
  19. Honestly, I think they intended to run the clock down on that drive with the hope of going into the half, and Michigan just kept giving up first downs. A near miss on the Davis near fumble was a reminder that they had a lot to lose there. They were at the 40 with a minute left. If they’re on their own 20 I get it, once you get close to mid field you keep your foot on the gas. Doesn’t have to be anything exotic, but that’s an odd place for a run.
  20. Straight handoff on 3rd and 5? Right after the turnover is reversed why not be aggressive and take more wind out of their sails?
  21. Groshek and Wildgoose among those out. Guerendo as well, thin at RB. May see Berger.
  22. Any word on who they may be missing tonight?
  23. Have any schools come out and said if they will allow seniors to stay for the extra year? I know the NCAA ruled that this season does not count towards eligibility, but I can't imagine that colleges can afford to keep a large chunk of their seniors and still give out the full amount of scholarships to incoming freshmen. The Badgers declined to bring back their winter seniors from last season, but will be curious to see how it's handled in a sport like football that the success of the program is pretty directly linked to income. They are not very senior heavy this year, but there are a few that probably won't be drafted that would sure help next season.
  24. The man is 76 years old and comes with a large amount of baggage. Yep, makes sense.... There is no upside to this hire, unless they are completely in a win now... like this year win now, mode. Even then, you can't tell me there isn't a qualified manager that is younger and could lead a franchise, not just coach a team. If I'm hiring a manager I'm looking at it as a 6+ year investment ideally. He's not even likely to be alive that long.
  25. Clemson and Notre Dame put on a show. One of the more entertaining regular season games in recent memory. Crazy to see a field storming during a pandemic. If I’m Notre Dame I’m getting my players off the field ASAP and into showers. Hate to see a big win like that followed by a shut down.
