  1. There have been a lot of big contributions from freshmen tonight. Bright future for sure!
  2. Last two drives the running game looked like it wore out the IL front. No homeruns but they consistently got push up front. Solid 4th quarter for that group after being held in check early.
  3. Patrick Mahomes is tweeting about him, I think he’s drawn some attention, lol.
  4. I really wanted Mertz to start the Big 10 title game. Just felt like they had nothing to lose.
  5. Don't have the WR's to do that unfortunately. Huh??? They bring back two established vets with Davis and Pryor, have a really good receiving back in Groshek, an above average TE in Ferguson, and some highly praised young guys at WR. Seems like one of the deepest receiving groups we’ve had in a long time.
  6. I don’t think Mr. Coan will be getting his job back. What a first half for Mertz.
  7. There's a bit of a question mark in the backfield, but you have to think somebody steps up and is a breakout out of that group. One of Watson, Berger or Gurrendo will emerge as the feature back and I think Groshek stays as the change of pace/3rd down back. The OL is too good for the running backs not to find some success. The biggest issue for me is TE. It seems to be the one spot on the offense that isn't very deep. Pretty much every other spot seems to be able to sustain an injury, but TE is pretty thin on the depth chart.
  8. A few mild surprises on the depth chart they released for game 1. Dietzen back into a starting role at G after missing a year. Herbig listed as a co-starter at OLB with Green-May Wilder starting at S over Nelson
  9. Why would you shift protection right with the back on the right having to come across the formation to pick up the edge? Nothing they are doing makes any logistical sense
  10. Coming in I thought they would blitz a ton to get Brady to move, and run between the tackles to negate the TB speed. We’ve done the exact opposite of both
  11. Twice in three throws, lol. The slant is what it is, but no reason to go to him on the pick 6.
  12. Maybe take what’s there instead of locking in on Adams.
  13. LB and DB blitzed from his right on pick 6. Every logic says a quick throw goes right, instead he threw left to 17.
  14. Heck of a start. Already had that TB defense on the field a long time.
  15. He’s fast, stop working the edge and run right at them...
  16. Getting 3 and out is huge playing in heat. Great start by the D. Now start working the TOP
  17. Found it odd that both runs were stretch plays, when TB defense has a ton of speed. St. Brown missing time shouldn’t lead to mental mistake. If anything he had more time to learn playbook.
  18. It’s to the point I’m hoping the Vikings win. They don’t need a top 5 pick to accelerate the rebuild.
  19. Nice. It'd be awesome to get a chance to see him get out there and get a few catches. I'm skeptical that he's active this week, but playing down in Tampa...it might be a good idea to go with another WR'er given that guys will probably need a bit more rest. If he wasn’t going to be active, they wouldn’t have activated him. He still had 2 weeks before they had to take him off IR. If they weren’t going to suit him up I would think they would have let him continue to practice on IR. He was a healthy scratch in week 1 which limits my expectations a bit.
  20. The Packers have activated St. Brown.
  21. I would watch a TB vs Atl series. Not sure I could stomach a LA vs Hou matchup. They changed the rules as to when a position player can pitch. Otherwise Braves would be using one by about the 3rd inning at this rate.
  22. A.J. Dalton should be a serviceable backup. Forgot he was with Dallas. See Travis Fulgahm had 10 rec for 150. He was a Packer for a few days this year.
  23. With KC and SF losing, I think about 90% of all parlay bets would be lost.
  24. Harrison signed with Seattle yesterday.
  25. Sounds like "Snacks" is signing with Seattle without even taking his visit to Green Bay.
