  1. Nobody said Hader didn't give it up tonight, quite the opposite. Claiming he is finished is just childish IMO. I'll take that stand. CC didn't see what 90% of us did. You don't leave him out there when he has absolutely no slider and terrible FB control. He was off. It happens. Correct for that. CC didn't. I blame the manager. We are all over analytics and new numbers blah blah blah. I'm sure those numbers can figure out that leaving a wild pitcher in with the bases loaded is a bad idea for a number of reasons. He shouldn't have faced Rendon. He couldn't locate a FB and had no slider. *clap clap clap* Absolutely. Normally CC is pretty good with the pen but he wasn't tonight.
  2. Grisham is a 22-year-old rookie who wouldn’t be playing if the reigning MVP was healthy. Cut the kid some slack. He shouldn’t be in the game over Gamel period. And what then, leave Braun in instead?
  3. The first 7 innings the Brewers gave up 3 hits and 0 walks. Hader gave up 2 hits and a walk in his inning and one of his outs came on the bases. He did get unlucky as hell with that broken bat single.
  4. Pen was this team's Achilles Heel all year, and bit them tonight. Not really. Suter Pomeranz and others were fine. HAder didn't have it tonite but CC kept him in when it was obvious Josh was too wild.
  5. Me too, but I suppose the alternative would have been no playoff baseball. Too dad the WC teams don't have a 3 game series. One good thing is the Nats used their 2 best pitchers tonite.
