Why do they get ballistic over that? Do they consider that action is showing the other team up? Maybe their pitcher shouldn't be throwing cookies over the plate?

If you go to the ESPN website's MLB page (or go to mlb.com) you won't find an article about the Crew. Even if they believe this won't last isn't it still newsworthy for the Brewers to be leading the division?

    Why would we trade Knebel?

Now that we have a sling box we can watch every game broadcast by FS Wisconsin. I miss those on Tuesday nights, however.

Augie ain't great by any stretch but he's better than Nelson IMO.

I take it AB is still doing the NBA playoffs?
  8. Pugger
Where did we get this guy anyway? You can't have your closer walking people no matter what the score is.
  9. Pugger
Perhaps now is the time to trade him to an AL team so he can just DH.

Huh? I don't understand this post at all.
  11. Pugger
Should he be closing? He seems to be the only one in that pen who doesn't give me an ulcer every night...

It appears our base running still leaves a lot to be desired...

Even tho it is still April this is fun to say!

You have to wonder why fans aren't going to their games. There are more fans at Marlin games than in Cincy and that isn't saying much.
  15. Pugger
We get every Marlin game down here and Stanton had no business trying to stretch that into a double - him getting called out on 2nd ended the game - and he hurt himself on top of it. He is one of my favorite players and it is a damn shame he is hurt again.

Do you realize there are other stats than home runs? Davis is awful in the of. He struggles to get on base. He struggles to hit for average. He has great power but that is it Yes, I have a stronger arm than he does and I'm a 62 year old lady!

Everybody has the green light it seems. Why in the hell do they swing when it is clear the pitcher can't find the plate?? They are doing that guy a favor by putting themselves out.

How can our guys keep making the same boneheaded mistakes all this time? I know these kids are young but they do stuff little leaguers won't. Whose to blame - the players, coaches or both?

Yes, Stearns knew Luc had a NTC including Cleveland and had to know there was a chance Jon would veto it so IMO it was rather foolish of Stearns to even entertain this deal in the first place.

If this is indeed what went down I don't blame Lucroy one bit for exercising that no trade option.

I'm glad I have another commitment tonight so I don't have to watch the carnage.

I blame this loss on what has haunted this team all year long - the inability to get runners on base home. We had the bases loaded twice and left 12 men stranded when it was all said and done. We should have blown them out. It stinks to have so many Cub fans in our park. I pray that when they start to lose our fans invade their park and let them see how that feels.

We all realize this is a rebuildint team but man, it is the dumb stuff we see them do that is disappointing - stuff Little Leaguers rarely do. These Keystone Cops can find more bizarre ways to lose games...
  24. Pugger
His longest this year was 490 feet at Marlins Park.

How are the guys picked for this? I see Stanton isn't an "All-Star" but Carter (along with a couple of others) has more HRs than Giancarlo has at the break. It was still a lot of fun watching him hit all of those majestic HRs last night and he was the best in that contest by far.
