    Freddy usually takes an inning or 2 to get in his groove.

    Ueck wasn't just a celebrity. He was almost family to so many of us. We felt like we knew him even though most of us didn't. I had no idea he was battling cancer. 😓

    A lot of us are piling on blaming Williams for losing game 3 but it was a group effort. A little more offensive production would have nice in this entire series.

    I'm glad we have a 162 game season. Knowing there will be a game almost every day is great. I'd rather watch The Crew than most of the garbage you find on TV otherwise.

    You must not have been around during the 70s and 80s living in Green Bay and watching truly dreadful football all those years.

    I get everyone bemoaning Williams choke job but the other pitchers tonite were stellar. Our problem was the bats. Clutch hitting disappeared once we clinched the division.

    I know what you are trying to say but it is damn sad we are still waxing poetic over a team that LOST the World Series 42 years ago. I am now 70 years old and my fear is I may never see this team win a championship in my lifetime. I hope they prove me wrong.

    What is so disappointing is they have been playing like garbage in all but one game since they clinched the division.

    Ok. I wondered why there would be a window there and I never really noticed it before. If they aren't using it now for its original purpose perhaps they should fix that so another player doesn't get hurt in the future.

    I just saw highlights of Friday's game (we lost cable and internet for 24 hours because of Helene). How long has there been a rectangular hole on that wall in right field?? What in the hell is it for? If Sal is seriously injured the morons who put that there should be fired.

    I had to look it up to see if what we are hearing at PNC Park is a freaking harpsichord. It is not. We are hearing recordings of a supposedly legendary organist. Every time they play one of those recordings all I can picture in my mind is Lurch on the Addams Family. 😄
