  1. Well, the fact that Yelich is a shell of himself should be discussed by fans, right? I mean, if someone is paying attention at all, it has to be a major concern. Not just for the fans, but also the organization. Absolutely! How can a guy go from league MVP and batting champ to hitting like a pitcher? I like the fact he can run well and get on base with walks but his hitting since he broke his kneecap has been woeful.
  2. I really don’t buy any of the Milwaukee/ small market hate. More than ever, all these underlying stats play a factor, much more than like in 82 when Vuke won it based more on his team’s offense and his own wins than his stats. Peralta could be this years’s CY Young’s version of Devin Williams for Reliever of the Year… not really expecting it until after the fact when all the raw numbers are stacked together. If he puts together more of the same type of outings, nothing more or less, he has a great opportunity. The only thing holding him back now is CC and how much he pitches him down the stretch. If he is being skipped or limited to 80- 85 pitches in 5 innings, then no, he has no shot. In my mind, a Brewer has about a 50% shot of winning the CY Young this year. They have been that great! With Hader, they might even get votes for four pitchers this year. The national media ignores the Brewers. We have the 3rd best record in the majors but any news about us is buried on the sports channels and websites.
  3. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
  4. You guys are acting like this was terrible. Sooner or later the Pirates were gonna win one. We have a decent lead in the division and the Reds also lost. Let's hope we win today and we get a bullpen arm back before the Giant's series this weekend.
  5. The Mets might have a better pitching staff (if deGrom is healthy) but I don't want to have to face that Braves lineup in a five game series. If the Mets win that division we won't have to worry about the Braves in the post season.
  6. Yup. I'm just glad he is out of the NLC for now.
  7. No kidding. The Yanks should have been sellers and not buyers.
  8. I hope my previous post wasn't going off protocols here.
  9. These vaccines don't make you immune. They cause your body to produce antibodies to combat the virus should you get it. I did hear the J & J is not as effective as the Pfizer and Moderna. Yelich should recover quickly seeing he is young and healthy. This break might be good for him. Let's hope having some time off will be the elixir he needs to get him back on track at the plate.
  10. I think another player other than Hiura needs to go down and figure out why he can't hit anymore - Yelich. He is almost an automatic out right now.
  11. This has to be addressed this offseason. Ridiculous. Did anyone ever hear what LaRusa was crying about here?
  12. So you think both Hiura and Rowdy are going down leaving us with only Jace as a first baseman and backup infielder? That doesn’t seem likely…….maybe JBJ will turn an ankle or something but other then that I just can’t see 5 outfielders……unless a pitcher gets sent down? Hiura is going down. Rowdy is staying. Perhaps with Cain coming back it should be Yelich who needs to go down and try and figure things out.
  13. Gee, I thought that was kinda funny and cute...but I'm one of those that love puns.
  14. I get what you are saying but we had no business getting swept by one of the worst team in all of baseball. They played like garbage. If they continue to do so, especially on defense against the White Sox this weekend, it could get ugly.
  15. I'm not surprised. We just swept an important series against our division rival on the road and then had to play an interleague game against a team having a lousy season. Let's see how they play this afternoon.
  16. That might legitimately be in the running for worst strike call of the year. Top 5 at least. I've seen a few other dreadful strike calls in our games in the past couple of weeks.
  17. I was a sophomore in high school the last time they won it all!
  18. I'm not going to rag on PC too much here. He didn't score but had some key rebounds in this game. I don't know if I could have shot free throws in that moment knowing I was soon going to get a ring!
