I would love to have Counsel back, I saw him at the MU v. UConn game last year. He is Milwaukee through and through and a winner. This would shore up a lot of problems with their situational play.

Could be a Willie Randolf type call circa 1991, I think he is a great clubhouse guy and he is not that far removed from some top-tier baseball; I would bank on his recruitment for a platoon with Jenkins. Other then C Hart, it looks like they are pretty concerned with the rest of the gang stepping up. As am I.

My source is solid, something is already done...just awaiting the details...major leaguers for major leaguers...exciting stuff for sure

That is all I know, should be announced shortly. Come-on Douggy! I am on pins and neddles...something should be up in the next hour.

How can any of us complain about an arm that Doug Melvin thinks is of value....this is what he might be best at, so let him do what he does.

msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6168854 Rodrigo Lopez for Mench...Interest in Jenkins. Doug Davis on the block?!? It's heating up!

Awesome for Corey - what a way to start an MLB career. He pounded the ball today.

8 LOB what is going on - can't we get a clutch hit here or there.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif - This is a good start beating the Cubs on Friday and Winning our opener would make this a perfect start.

absolute comedy on the thread today. I love the passion for the crew regardless of how irrational it is. The bullpen is offically scary

What is up with Brady Clark??? Why was he removed from the game?

Nice work with the pbyp. That was the most exciting comeback I've ever read. Cirillo is a total heart and soul guy like the catcher in Major League. I am thinking he is #25 and he will lay down the suicide that clinches the pennant this year. Obie puts the nail in the coffin - say what you will, but I love how obie, branyan, Capuano step-up to secure the spots. We will see if they are still there in May, but its theirs for now.

Any word on how the picthers, especially Henderickson looked out there today?

If I were the owner, I would be investing in more bandwagon, it is going to be full in a hurry after the season starts.

How sweet is that belliard you lazy bastard

Tough one. I couldn't be more excited with the first half that the crew put together. They need to buckle down through this tough streach in July and keep fighting the good fight. I believe that we really do have a shot at the wild card. The key will be Jenks and Pods coming around and Hendrickson being our lastest batch of lightening in a bottle.

nice work victor, don't let the man get you down

Stone Blows - he has called for the hook for Santos since the 5th. Is he trying to trick Yost? I guess he isn't scouting games any more. This is textbook Victor Santos.
  22. PepsiFanClubAlum
Help me out - was the counsell play really an error? Uecker thought that it should have been an infield hit and a error advancing Pods home. I would like to see those runs earned for Prior.
  23. PepsiFanClubAlum
Stone just said, the Cubs will get to Santos again!!! No respect - I tell you no respect
  24. PepsiFanClubAlum
Prior out! That is so Dusty. There is no good reason to not have him pitch the 5th, especially with their pen. He is a good coach, but sometimes he likes to get noticied by doing something strange.

bottom 3: The Brewers ran 5 consecutive counts full and walked 3 times wasting prior who now won't see the sixth. Top 4: Then Santos works out of the jam to exasterbate the cubs problem with runners in scoring position. 0 runs but those 1/2 innings might be the turning point.
